**The Role**
This position is a lead role in developing tools to support Planning and Engineering groups in the management of key company initiatives and strategies. Includes partnering in a team environment or be able to independently design, develop, code, test, debug and implement database applications to accommodate user needs of moderate to complex scope and difficulty including graphical user interfaces and interfaces with other systems. **The Main Responsibilities**
+ Participate in software development using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
+ Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to plan, track, and code development tasks.

**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ Expert in industry-specific voice knowledge with detailed understanding of the voice domain, especially in telephone number provisioning.

As a Principal Software Architect, you will be responsible for defining the overall technical vision, architecture, and design patterns for scalable, robust, and secure cloud-native applications. You will guide engineering teams through the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and planning to implementation, testing, and deployment. This includes making key technology choices, establishing coding standards, and ensuring adherence to best practices in software engineering.
Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating and selecting appropriate cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architectures, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and data management solutions. You will collaborate closely with product management, business stakeholders, and other engineering leaders to understand requirements and translate them into viable technical solutions. Mentoring and elevating the skills of senior engineers will also be a key aspect of this role, ensuring the team's technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
