The Strategic Sourcing Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for leading a team to handle the company's end to end sourcing operations to meet Global Sourcing savings targets while supporting the overall strategy of the Global Strategic Sourcing organization.
This position reports to the Sr. Director Global Sourcing and is part of the Global Sourcing team located in Richmond, Illinois and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Support and guide a team of procurement professionals related to all aspects of procurement, ensuring inventory is maintained at optimal levels so company goals and customer requirements are met
+ Drive targeted, sustainable improvements in Supplier On-Time Delivery, Margin Expansion, Working Capital Turns, Inventory, and related KPI's/objectives using lean tools, continuous improvement methodologies, facilitation skills, and change management processes
+ Manage relationships with relevant cross-functional leaders such as Product Management, Finance, Service, Sales, etc. to resolve parts supply or quality issues and to improve expense efficiency by optimizing process and supplier base
+ Provide guidance to team to support management of all supplier relationships related to new parts, supplier changes, yearly negotiations, pricing and payment terms, and other relevant topics
+ Manage the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, sustainable procurement practices, and company policies
+ Take a holistic view and test viability of options to guide a data-based functional strategy, considering items such as forecasts, availability of materials, and manufacturing capacity
+ Employ the necessary structure to effectively manage and anticipate the changing need for resources, easily flexing resource allocation in the face of changing circumstances.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum of nine years' experience or Master's degree with a minimum of seven years' experience
+ Minimum of two years' experience in a leadership position with a proven track record of successfully building, leading, and influencing global cross site, cross-functional teams
+ Demonstrated ability to develop, sell, and implement a global, organization-wide strategy, with demonstrated ability and success managing change, fostering an environment of trust, growth, and development
+ Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management, including excellent negotiation, influence, and contract management skills to encourage collaboration and positive outcomes

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel - must be able to travel up to 25% of the time, domestic and international. Overnight travel will be required.
+ Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20 lbs
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Master's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or equivalent
+ Supply chain or operations experience in Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Healthcare industries

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000.
This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

Insight Global is assisting a revolutionary Engineering client of ours in identifying a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a permanent opening they have. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier identification through to on-time delivery of systems, equipment and resources for our subsea habitats and associated operations. You will be working in a fast paced startup business across a broad range of commodities, including technical services, large structural fabrications, complex gas and electrical systems and novel marine system deployments. Strategic Sourcing - Global Gaming and On Board Media
+ Work with Corporate Leadership to develop the sourcing and procurement strategies for on board media and global gaming, aligning with company-wide goals and objectives.
+ Partner with stakeholders to effectively leverage scale, simplify the supplier base, reduce total cost of ownership, improve guest and crew satisfaction.Manage differing interests towards a holistic solution which will benefit the organization as a whole.
+ Execute category strategies following Carnival's strategic sourcing processes.
+ Provide a significant positive financial impact by optimizing commercial terms through negotiations.
+ Help improve tactical procurement processes to improve efficiency of transactional work with suppliers.
+ Leverage market and supplier risk analysis (e.g.market drivers, macroeconomic conditions, etc.)to anticipate its impact across the business and work with leadership to develop associated strategies and action plans to maximize the opportunity.

Position Summary
The primary role of the Strategic Sourcing Manager is to lead strategic negotiations in the HCA Enterprise and to be the Subject Matter Expert in all areas of category strategy development, negotiation and Vendor management of various healthcare information technology categories.

Job Description
Our client, a global distributor of components and accessories for outdoor power equipment, automotive & heavy-duty trucks, and power sports is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager. The role will be responsible to analyze and create strategy to optimize their global and domestic supplier relationships. They will work with product management, sales, operations, finance, and other internal stakeholders to develop strategic projects including new product development, product line extensions, and cost reduction. They will travel up to 50% of the time to visit international suppliers to negotiate and visit potential suppliers. They will manage 10k+ SKU's across three categories of engine components valued at 30-50 million. Having the ability analyzing their current supplier list and providing end-to-end sourcing solutions is imperative to be successful in this role. They will present these strategies to the VP and Lead Sourcing Managers. The majority of the supplier list has been subject to tariffs so being able to mitigate tariff risk is an important responsibility. Strategic Sourcing Manager
**Overall Job Summary**
This position is responsible for the oversight on all aspects of Strategic Sourcing. This position will be the team leader in all sourcing initiatives, while still being responsible for hands on sourcing in a designated area for Tractor Supply Company. This position is responsible for leading the sourcing team to drive for best cost/quality/execution sourcing worldwide. Working closely with Buyers, Planners, Imports, Logistics, Transportation, Vendors, Quality Assurance and Marketing.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)**
+ Support the Product Development team by finding the best value (cost, quality and execution) factories
+ Support the merchant team by assuring impeccable execution of all imports and domestic
+ Driving the program from production planning through delivery.
+ Track continuous improvement in cost, quality and lead times
+ Leading the timeline management and execution process on all programs to achieve objectives.
+ Partner with internal and external stake holders including, Product Development, Agents, Factories, Imports, Logistics, Inventory, QC and Merchants taking responsibility for assuring timely execution and issue resolution.
+ Drive the production and contingency planning process.
+ Assure timeliness, completion and accuracy of vendor and sku set up, audit, testing and QC

+ Develop expertise in the internal and external systems necessary to do the strategic sourcing job efficiently and utilize them to measure, monitor, report and execute efficiently. (Clear Track, SAP, Business objects, Expeditors, PLM, PIM. Government web sites, agent reporting systems)
+ Understand and communicate on worldwide sourcing for designated categories.
+ Monitor, organize and communicate on country trends, regulations, duties, exchange rates, labor rates, source of supply and relevant raw material's availability and costs.
+ Monitor and gain understanding of raw materials, components and manufacturing processes and prices for designated area
+ Work with Agents and Director to find of suppliers to support the development on the PD Tracker.
+ Support the on boarding of new factories and agents
+ Support the Director in leading and maintaining the factory and agent relationship, negotiations, bid/rebid process and execution including set up, tracking, and maintaining systems and reporting.
+ Research, maintenance and organization of sourcing data for PD tracker, factory/supplier library, samples/cost quotes/PPDs, clear track, and sourcing tracker
+ Participate in tactical meetings with vendors and manufacturers to develop strategy and business partnerships

+ Pulling together reporting information needed for analyses, decision making, and Strategy preparation

**Required Qualifications**
Experience: 6+ years of experience in sourcing/product development.
Education: Bachelor degree in sourcing related field or relevant experience equivalent.Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
**Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities**
+ Experience and understanding of manufacturing. Component costing. Experience with factories, molds and production process. Experience with worldwide sourcing and travel
+ Prefer: In-depth experience with retail sourcing and product development operation for omni-channel large scale retailer
+ Prefer: Experience and understanding of QA/QC process and testing
+ Prefer: Experience working with overseas travel, offices and agents
+ Plan and organize trip and travel as needed both domestic and overseas.

Job Summary:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager plays a critical role in developing and implementing advanced purchasing strategies to support Safran Ventilation Systems' North American operations. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager and Purchasing Director, this position requires in-depth knowledge of the global supply chain, strategic supplier management, and cross-functional coordination within the Safran group.
