As the **_Head of Staples Media Network_** , you'll drive the future direction and development of a fast-growing
program of strategic importance for Staples overall growth. This position is a high-visibility leadership

This position will lead a team of partnership leads who manage the marketing and sales of our media
network product offerings to drive an increase in revenue and program adoption, as well as develop
media strategy and plans for Staples key advertising partners. You will play a key
role in Staples Media Network's strategic alignment with our advertising partners, working closely with
our Product & Operations organizations, digital and media agencies, and strategic third-party vendors to
scale our media network growth.
You will leverage your deep expertise in media & advertising to lead the team over a variety of obstacles
- ranging from monetization strategies, landscape evaluation, competitive positioning, defense of the
program, and macro vendor funding economics. You are someone with a growth mindset who truly

**Duties & Responsibilities:**
- Set & execute against annualized EBITDA targets
- Lead the media sales organization -- build and manage the Staples Media Network pipeline:
nurturing prospects, growing existing vendor partner relationships, and developing plans to
consistently exceed sales goals
- Model for the team what best-in-class selling looks like - go to market plans that demonstrate
Staples Media Network's point of differentiation in the market, full funnel media plans that meet
each vendor partners' unique goals and exceed their expectations, and always-on upselling.
- Collaborate with Sr. Director, SMN Operations to provide robust forecasting &
measurement/reporting to vendors
- Co-create communications for various stakeholders to share insights, action items, and pipeline in
a timely fashion
- Collaborate with Sr. Director, Retail Media Operations and Staples product organization to drive
program capabilities forward and solve vendor problems to drive incremental revenue - Act as the ambassador for Staples Media Network at all levels of the organization & be seen as
the face of Staples Media Network externally through thought leadership and participation at
public events
- Present to Exec Leadership at monthly business reviews and adhoc. Develop strong partnerships
with VP level and above stakeholders across the organization and across all business units
- Lead internal communications across the retail media network team
- Stay up to date with industry trends that are relevant to retail media, as well as general retail
trends
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelors Degree in Business, marketing or related field OR equivalent work experience. - 15+ years of digital media, advertising technology, and/or marketing experience, primarily focused
in consumer environments
- 10+ years cross-functional leadership experience, including demonstrated success leading a
large cross-functional marketing team with vendor/agency counterparts integrations
- 5+ years of onsite & offsite media product strategy experience, including examples of standing up
net new products
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Strategic thinker with experience driving long-term growth while balancing short term objectives
- Experience standing up self-serve buying models in partnership DSP, SSP or specialized 3rd
party commerce media platform
- Ecommerce background, with a proven track record of cross department collaboration and
