**The Job You Will Perform:**
Position Scope:
Job responsibilities will include interacting with mill operations personnel on a day-to-day basis, as well as performing routine financial assignments. These assignments can include measuring progress against meeting various objectives, analyzing business results, developing an annual budget and preparing short-term forecasts.
Position Responsibilities:
+ The Analyst will work closely with a variety of different leaders within the department and mill to deliver on the following responsibilities:
+ Display safety leadership above all things and at all times.
+ Actively participate as a member of a business unit
+ Review/analyze key performance measures and variances
+ Develop the annual budget and assure that product cost information is accurate.
+ Monthly reporting and communication of financial performance against objectives.
+ Ensure accurate and timely financial and operating statistical information for the identification of potential business problems and opportunities.
+ Ensure compliance of efficient internal controls on all transactions of company assets and interests, including legal, state and local taxes and insurance claims.

+ Develop tools that increase visibility of process impacts on mill financial performance and increase accuracy of monthly forecasting.

Bowhead seeks a Financial Analyst (FA) who will complete and assist in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, trending and analysis. The FA is responsible for creating, updating, and analyzing budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
**Responsibilities**
The FA will track project expenses, update spend plans and month end accruals as needed. The FA is also responsible for reporting, making recommendations, and analyzing project financial status on a monthly basis at a minimum; completing scheduled and ad hoc financial data calls for internal and external customers; and maintain compliance with company, contract, and federal/state applicable regulations and policies. They will interface with Program Management and Support Services in the execution of their duties on a regular basis. This position may assist in the preparation of proposals for new and existing delivery orders.

CAI's **Financial Analyst** provides leadership and expertise in operational and financial support for a defined area. Works directly with the EVP (Executive VP), account managers, sales associates, and corporate staff to effectively support that area's needs. Creativity and independent decision making are required. **Job Summary**
The Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation, validation and analysis of all financials produced by the department. They also respond to inquiries and provide income statement analysis to Directors of Financial Operations and Controllers, which help to guide respective field offices in understanding and managing their profitability and financial performance. They play an active role in the annual budget process. A qualified candidate must demonstrate initiative, flexibility, innovation, urgency, and ability to work in a diverse setting.
**Essential Functions**
+ Produce monthly reporting which includes company, regional, office and director views
+ Provide variance explanation between budget, actual, year over year, and trending performance
+ Conduct monthly income statement analysis and prepare journal entries when needed during the monthly close process.
+ Assist stakeholders in understanding and utilizing reports produced by the department
+ Produce ad hoc reports and provide analysis as needed
+ Investigate ways to improve current reporting processes utilizing functionality of PeopleSoft queries and the Planning application
+ Participate in the annual budgeting process
**Minimum Education**
+ BS in Accounting or Finance
+ 3-5 years of Accounting or Finance related experience
+ People Soft and nVision experience preferred

**Summary**
We are recruiting for a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will support Perdue AgriBusiness' commercial and operations management teams as well as corporate finance by producing timely and accurate reports and analytics. These supportive activities can include providing detailed financial reports and reconciliations, forecasting and budgeting, conducting analytics from disparate sources, and performing ad hoc research as needed to support the business.
This role is onsite in Salisbury, MD. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.
The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).
