Strategic Analysts combine TargetSmart's extensive data and analytics resources with advanced analysis and visualization techniques to deliver actionable insights that shape client strategy. Responsibilities:

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience creating maps and other geographic resources using Maptitude, Arc-GIS, or equivalent spatial manipulation tools
Familiarity with census geographies (block, block group, tract, etc.), census reapportionment, and census data sets such as the American Community Survey and other census data products
Familiarity with political and electoral performance data and concepts such as the Democratic performance index (DPI), precinct-level election results, voter turnout, incumbency, etc.

- Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably within an HR context.
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to present complex data in an understandable and engaging way.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on making data-driven decisions.
