**Role Description**
Are you passionate about digital advertising, data analytics, and the evolving world of ad tech? We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Ad Tech Partnerships team, with a focus on data and measurement. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, media, and marketing, supporting strategic partnerships that drive performance and innovation. This intern will help evaluate and optimize advertising technologies, support measurement initiatives, and contribute to data-driven decision-making across our partner ecosystem.
**Job Responsibilities**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ **Data Analysis & Reporting** : Assist in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing campaign performance data across various ad tech platforms.
+ **Measurement Strategy Support** : Contribute to the development and refinement of measurement frameworks, including attribution models, incrementality testing, and brand lift studies.
+ **Partner Collaboration** : Support the Partnerships team in managing relationships with measurement and data partners (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, DoubleVerify, LiveRamp).
+ **Tool & Platform Evaluation** : Help assess the capabilities and performance of third-party ad tech tools, including DSPs, SSPs, and analytics platforms.
+ **Market Research** : Conduct research on industry trends, privacy regulations, and emerging technologies in the ad tech and measurement space.
+ **Documentation & Insights** : Create clear documentation of findings, best practices, and recommendations to inform internal stakeholders and future strategy.

**Preferred** **Skills**
+ Strong analytical/reporting skills
+ Excellent proofreading, editing, verbal and written communication skills
+ Experience with Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and AI prompt writing (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini)

**Minimum** **Qualifications** **and Eligibility Requirements**

+ Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
+ Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating) 
+ Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
+ Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

Your New Role.
CNN's is seeking a results-driven **Strategic Partnerships Manager** to help achieve our ambitious product, user, and revenue goals. Reporting to the Director of Business Development and Strategy, this key role is responsible for managing third-party relationships focused on driving revenue, engaging audiences and enhancing CNN's ability to deliver premium user experiences.
The individual will develop a portfolio of off-platform partnerships (including social platform and Big Tech partners), as well as identity, evaluate, negotiate and prospect new ones. This role will work closely with CNN's Digital Product & Services leadership, strategy, product & technology, and cross-functional leaders across the company.
The ideal candidate is passionate about digital media, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to collaborate across teams to drive measurable business impact.
Your Role Accountabilities.
+ **Day-to-day partner management:** Manage, optimize and provide regular reporting on current social, product, and technology partnerships, constantly creating new and innovative ways to create more value for CNN.
+ **Internal leadership:** Work cross-functionally across the organization to grow existing partnerships, analyze business opportunities and strike new partnerships, and keep internal stakeholders informed throughout the partnership lifecycle.
+ **Deal flow and execution:** Originate and negotiate partnerships with third-party technology and product partners; work closely with Finance and Legal teams on term sheets, contracts, and best practices in deal making.
+ **Strategy:** Provides counsel to internal and external stakeholders about how CNN's journalism and digital offerings can be leveraged to create engaging, innovative, products and services worth paying for
Qualifications & Experience.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus.
+ 5-7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, management consulting or related fields. Experience working for a digital publisher and/or previous experience working for a major technology company preferred.
+ Demonstrated experience developing business partnerships and supporting cross-functional initiatives, preferably in media or digital industries.
+ Strong business and financial acumen, and superior analytical and writing skills
+ Experience working with stakeholders in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
+ Understanding of digital news, emerging technology, subscriptions, and advertising business models
+ Background in media, tech, or consumer products industries preferred
