We are looking for an **Engineering Manager, Stress & Thermal Analysis** to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.
**Your Responsibilities:**
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with internal and external customers to understand technical and project scope for both new product development and traditional product needs. The candidate will assign and manage analytical resources to deliver value-added, analytical solutions on-time and within cost allocations. He/she will foster continuous improvement in processes and methods to complete work and develop a collaborative group of subject matter experts tailored to meet business needs.
Responsibilities will fundamentally center on the management of engineering personnel. Skill set development, monitoring career progression and ensuring appropriate assignments for direct reports is required to facilitate continued advancement of the CW engineering work force. In addition to a strong technical aptitude, the Engineering Manager must have leadership skills used in guiding the engineering teams.

+ Interact effectively and flexibly with internal and external customers to address technical needs including negotiation activities, technical meetings, and review and approval of technical reports

-Provide technical support during project construction, commissioning, and startup

-Conduct design reviews and participate in HAZOP studies

YOU MUST HAVE:

-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

-5+ years of experience in advance piping design and layout

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform finite element simulations to analyze stress, deformation, thermal effects, and dynamic behavior of components and assemblies.
