Under the direction of the department Supervisor(s) and assistance of Lead Worker(s)/ LC2s, counsel student loan borrowers in resolving their delinquent accounts in an accurate, effective, and efficient manner. Responsible for handling inbound and outbound telephone calls in accordance with federal regulations, corporate objectives and department policies including those described in the Repayment Solutions Policies and Procedures manual. This was formerly Great Lakes Education.
They will start under the Default Guarantor Portfolio - older cohort of borrowers (prior to 2010). They're 60 days passed due and they'll be making outbound call on a dialer. Call volume is increasing especially on the direct side. The payment pause ends in September and we'll have 4 years worth of people who need educating on their loans. Individuals could have 40 calls per week or 100s per week. Will start with outbound calls and then will get trained on inbound.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Financial Services (SFS), the Student Financial Services Counselor is an integral member of the SFS team responsible for assisting the office with financial aid administration. The position will provide financial aid counseling to students and families with the primary responsibility of managing an alpha-split caseload that includes financial aid applicants and current students.
Responsibilities
- Guide students and parents throughout the financial aid application. Advise on eligibility requirements, policies/procedures, and financing/payment options.
- Review financial aid applications for new and returning students, perform needs analysis, complete federal verification, exercise professional judgment, and determine aid eligibility.
- Assist students and families in understanding their student accounts and the billing/payment process.
- Maintain knowledge and stay current on constantly evolving federal, state, and institutional policies/regulations.
- Participate in on-campus and off-campus outreach efforts to promote Vassar and its place in the higher education community.
- Assist with general office functions such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.

The Hunter College Campus Schools is a K-12 institution seeking a full-time Student Psychological Counselor who will report directly to the Director of the Campus Schools and who will work closely with the Elementary School counselor, the High School Guidance Counseling Department, Learning Specialists, Assistant Principals and the campus leadership team. In addition, six years' professional experience is required for all candidates.

You can learn more about the program by SHINE is currently seeking the following professionals to join our team:Lead Teachers - Oversee staff/curriculum and maintain student records. Communicate with families and school administration. Responsible for students well-being under their charge during program hours. Bachelor's Degree and current Pennsylvania Teacher certification required.Teachers - Support the lead teacher, assist with curriculum development and student management.
