During this competitive 11-week summer program, you and your fellow interns will become part of a highly respected actuarial community at a leading Fortune 500 company, undertaking challenging and exciting assignments while sharpening your technical, communication and leadership skills.
Interns work throughout all actuarial departments including both Property and Casualty businesses and Employee Benefits. Challenging performance objectives ensure that the work you do will be valuable to both you and The Hartford. Interns are exposed to a variety of actuarial functions including: personal and commercial insurance pricing, corporate reserving, data science, enterprise risk management, employee benefits, and more. Our calendar of events is structured with fantastic training in R coding, insurance terminology and technologies used by the actuarial department. All interns are able to make active contributions towards supporting our culture. The program also includes a number of unforgettable team building and social events that let you meet and interact with all members of our large actuarial community.
The Actuarial Internship Program begins in late May 2026. This is a full-time, in-person internship based exclusively at our home office in Hartford, CT. All interns are required to be physically present in Hartford for the duration of the program. To support this, we provide fully furnished corporate housing located near the office.
Qualifications:
Must be well-rounded, driven candidates who possess excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills. To be considered for this program, candidates should be pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in a math, economics, finance, and/or science related field. Candidates should have passed at least one actuarial exam.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Basic Functions
The EOPS Student Program Advisor provides holistic advising and support to EOPS students, prospective students, and other eligible participants. The role promotes student access, retention, and success through direct advising, outreach, and collaboration with campus and community partners. The advisor supports students in EOPS, CARE, CalWORKs, Guardian Scholars, NextUp, and SPARC with program enrollment, eligibility, resource navigation, and goal setting. The advisor also collaborates with high schools, local nonprofits, and campus departments to support recruitment efforts and connect students with relevant academic and support services.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, provide a variety of outreach and support services for an assigned student services program; assist program participants with obtaining and maintaining program enrollment; monitor the attendance, goals and progress of program participants; provide program information to students, parents and the community.
Representative Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide a variety of outreach and support services for assigned student services program, including admissions, enrollment services, dual enrollment, EOPS/CARE, financial aid, international students, student life activities, orientation, Cal-SOAP, CalWorks, athletics, student health services, STEP or other assigned program; provide individual case management for program participants.
Assist program participants obtain and maintain program enrollment; recruit, refer and register students to assigned programs; interview potential enrollees; assist student with completing and assure accuracy and completeness of required forms and applications; determine applicant eligibility, waivers and enroll students as appropriate; refer students to outside agencies as appropriate.
Monitor the attendance, goals and progress of program participants; collaborate with students to develop and implement individual goals and strategies; assist students with enhancing a variety of skills related to program activities; advise students concerning individual progress and program activities.
Confer with students, parents, personnel and the community to exchange information, coordinate activities and resolve issues or concerns regarding program activities and student progress; initiate and receive phone calls; respond to inquiries and provide information.
Prepare and conduct workshops and formal presentations for an assigned program to local community organizations, private and public schools and other recruiting sources as directed; conduct on-campus tours for potential students and parents; attend job and college fairs and other events to promote SBCC programs and services.
Input student information into SEVIS or other assigned computer system; generate computerized reports as needed; update and maintain related data bases, websites and other computer information as assigned by the position.
Compile information and prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to student goals, progress, information, time sheets and assigned activities; conduct surveys and analyze related data for various program requirements; establish and maintain filing systems.
Operate a variety of office equipment including a calculator, copier, fax machine, computer and assigned software; drive a vehicle to conduct work as assigned.
Recruit, train and provide work direction to assigned staff, student workers, tutors, peer advisors, consultants or other personnel assigned to the program; coordinate and schedule work hours and complete time sheets as assigned.
Assist students with transitioning out of assigned programs after individual goals are met; perform follow-up with former program participants as required.
Compose and mail correspondence related to program activities and student progress.
Attend and participate in assigned meetings, conferences and training sessions.

Education and Experience
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree with major coursework in sociology, social work, psychology or related field and one year experience working with secondary and post-secondary school aged students in an educational setting.

Thank you for your interest in the Knowledge Program at Baptist Health Louisville. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm for the program and your interest in Baptist Health. It is important that you take the time to read the following information before applying:
The Knowledge Program provides tuition dollars to healthcare students in order to assist them in obtaining a healthcare degree, followed by a commitment to join Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health La Grange upon graduation. Knowledge Program monies are "forgiven" as the student meets specific tenure milestones.
The amount of funding provided depends on multiple factors including school, degree program, graduation date, career goals, and a demonstrated need for the fudnding. Current Baptist employees applying for this program must be in good standing with both performance and attendance to be considered. Generally, a one year work requirement for every $10,000 in Knowledge Program funding is required upon graduation.
*** Students must be accepted or actively enrolled in an applicable degree program, prior to graduation in the field of study, in order to be eligible to apply for this program. Individuals taking prerequisite classes are generally not yet eligible ***

- A Baptist Health application.
- A transcript with your current GPA
- An acceptance letter into your program
- Two letters of recommendation preferrably from an employer or clinical instructor.
- A one-page document outlining how you plan to use the dollars, and your career plans post-graduation, etc.

Thank you for your interest in taking the state certified nurse aide training program at NHC Glasgow. To be considered for the class, you must provide the following at the time of your interview:
- Completed Application
- Valid Photo Identification
- Social Security Card
Books and Supplies ($40) will be needed as a deposit on the first day of class and will be returned upon graduation! You will be required to purchase one set of scrubs to wear every day to class and clinical.
We will run a criminal background check as well as consult the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults. No one with a felony conviction, certain misdemeanor charges, and/or found on the abuse registry can be admitted to the class.
Students are chosen based on the facility need, shift availability of the candidate, flexibility of the candidate, previous work history and attitude. The best qualified candidates for the class will be chosen.

Schedule: Full time, 30 hours per week
The Student Assistance Program was created to maximize the ability of students to achieve academic success and social competency and to promote a healthy school environment by reducing the stigma associated with mental health concerns. Counselors are embedded into the school system to support students throughout their school day. Our Counselors provide a safe place for students to seek help, offer valuable input to parents and school staff and provide appropriate outside referrals. Direct therapeutic support is offered to address behavioral and emotional issues that interfere with their success in the classroom through individual and group work, classroom activities and community initiatives. Additionally, the Counselors have an impact on school culture by offering presentations to their students on diverse topics such as bullying, substance use and suicide prevention.
The ideal candidate is a good communicator that is flexible and able to form relationships with colleagues and collaborate with school staff to engage students and make a difference in their future.
SAP Responsibilities:
- Provides school counseling, direct therapeutic individual and/or group support to students, for a service period of 41 weeks; mirroring the school calendar.
- Coordinate closely with school support staff, faculty, and administration to deliver services and with parents/caregivers as needed.
- Assess academic and family needs; provides referrals to support services in school and to community providers as needed.
- Provide triage support as needed.
- Facilitate prevention education activities via classroom presentations, assemblies, campaigns, etc. that address youth substance abuse, suicide prevention and other topics related to mental health.
- Attend individual and group supervision, and other required meetings.
- Represents the program at various agency and community events (I.e. community and school health fairs, focus groups, coalitions, etc).
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
- License preferred.
