Overview

Maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors. Provide Housekeeping Team direction and support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing open communication, training, coaching, and counseling and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication, and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
  • Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
  • Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
  • Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquiries to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff and company assets.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach to assist other staff members, i.e., room attendants, house-persons, and inspectors to complete their individual tasks if situation demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Job Description

Supervises: Room Attendants, Turndown Attendants, Housepersons/Lobby Attendants

Reports To: Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager

General Purpose: The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that the daily duties of the staff are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.

  • Must be able to open, close, or work any shift during special events.
  • Professionally and efficiently uses 2-way radio to communicate with housekeeping staff and other departments across property.

As an Installation Supervisor, you are the technical construction and product installation expert in our core products (windows, sunrooms if required, doors siding). Responsibilities

• Technical Construction Expert; Understanding of how to remeasure windows, entry doors, siding, and/or sunrooms in all applications as required. Knowledge of when and where tempered glass is required. To ensure compliance with Champion Engineering, and common construction best practices• Customer Satisfaction; Job site visits, and or, phone calls with customers during installs or at each phase of longer projects. At first indication of a customer concern, after personally speaking to the customer; inform Install Manager of concern• Project Management; Oversee in-house and subcontractor crews to ensure daily revenue goals are achieved. Ensure each project is properly measured, ordered, staged, scheduled, fully completed, and balance due is 100% collected. Ensure that employees and subcontractors achieve industry productivity and quality standards. Ensure that employees and subcontractors receive training as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent• 2- 3 years of skilled labor or industry experience preferred• OSHA, Installation Masters training and/or related certification a plus• Clean driving and solid attendance records• Proven leadership skills and ability to train others• Proficient knowledge of installation/service methods for window, door and siding projects• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and email• Ability to adjust and re-prioritize work flow on a daily basis• Ability to ensure each job is completed in compliance with written safety policies

  • Generate reports to measure productivity and efficiency in processes.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily work flow, monitoring the pace and flow of product from receiving through shipping.

  • Track and record all related issues and challenges in order to develop a strategy to overcome any internal problems.
  • Plan and assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.

  • Ensure BWT / TDSS has product available and properly placed for positive customer experience
  • Schedule warehouse associates to meet the demands of the facility to include; staffing, training, evaluation and development.
  • Maintain warehouse staffing levels by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Must be certified and skilled to train associates using powered industrial (MHE) equipment. Operates equipment in accordance with safety guidelines considering speed, visibility, and load size.
  • Assure warehouse maintains compliance with company's policies and vision.
  • Communicates with Warehouse Operations Manager and other departments to ensure goals are accomplished.
  • Acts as back-up to the Warehouse Operations Manager, when he/she is unavailable
  • General housekeeping to ensure warehouse standards are met in a safe and professional manner. May include sweeping, restocking, organizing, and other duties as assigned.
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
  • Key Performance Indicators implementation and review
  • Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Operations Manager, VP / Logistics, SVP/ CFO.
