**Position Overview:**
This position is responsible for overseeing the Orlando day shift test and production floor, which includes approximately 10 direct report employees.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure the working environment is clean, organized, and always safe for employees. Understand and ensure team complies with all ODI safety policies and basic safe work practices.
+ Understand and enforce all company policies as they apply to the area of responsibility.
+ Oversee and drive all production-related activities to ensure customer expectations and business goals are met.
+ Understand monthly production plans / weekly schedules and allocate resources accordingly.
+ Identify obstacles to achieving business goals and provide solutions or seek assistance.
+ Responsible for the coordination of all departmental training including employee cross-training.
+ Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Mfg. Operations.
**Education and Experience:**
+ An associate degree in a technical field preferred.
+ Minimum 2 years manufacturing supervision preferred.
+ Previous supervisory experience in an Engineer-to-order environment preferred.
+ Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S and other world-class manufacturing concepts a plus.
