Job Purpose and Impact

The Electrical Supervisor will coordinate the deployment of leading maintenance practices in alignment with production needs. In this role, you will supervise a team which executes a variety of medium complex activities to maintain capacity utilization and quality standards for reliable operations in the region.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the execution of specific equipment strategy for each asset involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding a high hazard process.

  • Implement methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.

  • Assist to lead the integration of contractor partners and equipment providing support to the plant force.

  • Partner with regional and global leadership to support area leading practices.

  • Develop the operational related budget to track the area progress against the estimate.

  • You will have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions, and much of your time is spent completing the same tasks as the subordinate employees.

The Distribution Trainer / Project Supervisor (DTPS) is responsible for the training and supervising performance of work and oversight of contract matters relating to daily operations of this contract. The DTPS may design, implement and administer structured training curriculum, professional development, planning, certification and hands-on training and administration of duties related to the requirements set forth in contract PWS all IAW Amentum leadership, international, US, DLA, PWS, and industry requirements/standards/criteria, while maintaining safety as the highest priority.
DTPS shall have the ability to deploy globally in support of emerging requirements, within 48 hours of notification.
Duties may include, but not be limited to the following:
+ Train all Distribution Contractor personnel to use Government-Furnished transactional data systems to include WMS and other IT Data Systems as specified in the Task Order, prior to the Task Order start date.
+ Train new hires and deliver refresher courses.
+ Supervising warehousing, safety and task activities.
+ Develop course materials, manuals, and other educational content that is clear, accurate, and tailored to the audience.
+ Conduct needs assessments to tailor training according to the needs of the organization and individual roles.
+ Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and make improvements as necessary.
+ Represent the organization professionally at internal and external meetings and forums.
+ Collaborate with other trainers, managers, and government POC's to ensure alignment of training with organizational goals.
+ Manage the logistics of training sessions, including schedules, resources, and technology.
+ Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
+ Stay updated with the latest advancements in training methodologies and administrative technologies.
+ Manage day-to-day execution and oversight.
+ Ensuring compliance, performance and reporting requirements are met successfully.
+ Recommend, develop, implement, and enforce procedures/programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ At least four (4) years of training specialist experience
+ One (1) year of experience as a supervisor/work leader
+ Experience supervising logistics teams
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills
+ Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
+ Valid US or local driver's license and US passport
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.
+ As needed, ability to successfully pass any medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of any deployment
+ Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide)
**EDUCATION**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
**OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
+ Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting government contract responsibilities in an OCONUS environment.
+ OCONUS work experience with a multi-national workforce
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards
+ Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement
**WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS**
Depending on location and travel, position may be typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
May also be required to travel to CONUS or OCONUS locations to an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit / 50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Job Purpose and Impact**
+ The Supervisor II, HR Business Partner - Plants position delivers core people processes for the Wyalusing plant with focus on people, culture, workforce planning and talent development needs, organization effectiveness support and operational delivery of related processes. This job leads the team to meet organizational goals and strategic initiatives and partners closely with key leaders.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION: Provides consulting and solutions to improve performance, engagement, recruiting and retention to increase efficiency and mitigate people risks while also building an inclusive culture.
+ PROGRAM EXECUTION: Oversees the execution of core people processes throughout the year at Wyalusing with communications and coaching to managers and monitors employee inquiry volume and employee relations case trends to develop actions with leadership.
+ METRICS & ANALYSIS: Leverages and manages complex reports and dashboards to measure and analyze human resources and business performance metrics at plant location, provides trend analyses, and recommends solutions based on insights.
+ DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION: Understands risks and opportunities to drive focus and action against diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and goals.
+ STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT: Partners with key members across the human resources operating model on workforce and talent planning, development strategies to select, retain and develop talent, performance management, team development and engagement action planning.
+ TEAM LEADERSHIP: Provides oversight to the plant human resources teams to drive the people and culture plans at the production site to deliver operational performance and grow and develop human resources teams at the plant, providing effective team leadership and coaching for related resources.
+ BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP: Partners with key leaders on the development and implementation of complex local people and culture strategy in alignment with the business and local people and culture strategy.
+ OPERATIONAL PROCESSES: Leads the implementation of plant HR operational processes to manage time and attendance, employee/labor relations, and benefits administration processes to support the overall compliance and effectiveness of the HR operational processes of the plant.
+ TEAM MANAGEMENT: Manages team members to achieve the organization's goals, by ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience.
+ Supervisory experience
+ HR Plant Manufacturing experience
Preferred
+ SHRM Certification
