As the Director of Risk Management you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing supplier and operational programs that improve the bottom line and protect the organization in various risk areas. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing and implementing risk strategic policies and procedures to assess, onboard, monitor, and optimize third-party relationships and ensure our supply chain is resilient. **Third-Party Relationship Management:**
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of third-party relationships, from initial vendor selection and due diligence to ongoing performance monitoring and evaluation. Establish strong partnerships with vendors, managing contracts, and service level agreements to ensure the organization's needs are met effectively.
**Supply Chain Risk Resiliency:**
Strengthen the E2E supply chain risk resiliency through strategic initiatives, technology, risk mitigation plans, policy implementation, and monitoring and reporting for compliance. Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Solution Leadership
* Define and execute the vision and strategy for demand planning and replenishment capabilities within the Retail/CPG vertical.
* Lead market analysis to identify evolving customer needs, technology trends, and competitive differentiation.
* Partner with Product and Engineering to shape solution roadmaps aligned to retailer and CPG supply chain needs.
Forecasting & Replenishment Expertise

* Help drive pre-sales conversations, RFP responses, and value proofing alongside Sales and Solutions teams.
Go-to-Market & Internal Collaboration
* Develop use cases, customer stories, and ROI cases for GTM materials and field enablement.
* Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to translate technical capabilities into compelling positioning for business stakeholders.
* Work with Customer Success and Delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation and sustained impact.
* Develop product positioning and pricing strategies to gain market share and maximize profits.
Qualifications
* 12+ years of experience in retail or CPG supply chain management, preferably in demand planning, forecasting, MDM, allocation, store operations.
* Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or consulting focused on supply chain transformation highly preferred.
* Deep domain knowledge in tools such as Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, o9, Relex, Oracle RPAS.

This leader establishes best-in-class planning practices that balance service levels, efficiency & speed-to-market across diverse product assortments. The role requires strategic foresight, operational precision & alignment of global supply capabilities with regional needs.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Inventory & Demand Planning
- Direct the demand planning & inventory strategy, ensuring product selection & timing align with demand & margin goals
- Integrate market intelligence, historical data & business inputs into robust forecasting models that inform purchasing, investment & capacity decisions
- Implement inventory optimization strategies that balance service levels, capital efficiency & lifecycle management across product categories & seasonal lines
- Manage inventory risk through improved visibility, scenario modeling & contingency planning across global supply networks
Process Optimization & Project Management
- Establish KPIs, analytics, & governance frameworks to elevate decision-making, forecast accuracy & operational transparency
- Lead automation & modernization of planning & reporting processes through advanced tools (SAP, Excel macros & BI platforms)
- Identify systemic inefficiencies & lead business-wide initiatives to standardize & improve planning processes across functions
- Drive project management initiatives to optimize end-to-end planning & inventory operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives & contrasting stakeholder priorities
Organizational Design & Talent Leadership
- Optimize organizational planning structure to ensure clarity, accountability & specialization
- Build a high-performance culture focused on agility, ownership & collaboration

Global Integration & Market Readiness
- Act as the strategic interface between the NA market & global HQ for product launches, demand signals & operational readiness

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics or a related field
