The primary goal of this position is to leverage SAP Business Systems to optimize and enhance business processes across the organization, focusing specifically on areas of logistics, inventory, and warehouse management. This role involves working with high-level business unit executives to identify strategic SAP-enabled opportunities, providing leadership in planning, development, and delivery of effective information systems, and driving the integration of SAP with external systems.
Responsibilities
- Business Process Analysis & Improvement: Work directly with business unit clients to understand specific processes and drivers related to SAP LE, IM, WM/EWM systems. Identify and communicate resulting needs and opportunities for SAP-enabled business process improvement.
- Technology Investigation & Strategy Development: Investigate existing SAP capabilities and explore new solutions for logistics, inventory, and warehouse management. Develop integrated information management strategies that align with business goals.
- Compliance & Evaluation: Ensure all SAP activities comply with corporate and divisional policies. Identify emerging needs and evaluate SAP solutions using best practices.
- Strategic Business Opportunities: Proactively seek strategic opportunities for SAP application across multiple business areas, providing comprehensive strategic analyses to high-level executives.
- Information Systems Strategy: Develop, lead, or review SAP information systems strategy to support strategic requirements of multiple business areas, ensuring alignment between business and technology directions.
- Training & Testing: Prepare testing plans for SAP systems to confirm accuracy and completeness. Conduct user training to ensure effective system adoption.

- Responsibility & Accountability: Have defined authority and responsibility for significant areas of SAP work, including technical, financial, and quality aspects. Establish organizational objectives and delegate assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field with 7 years of SAP experience; Master's Degree with 6 years' experience; PhD with 2 years' experience.
- Proven expertise in SAP LE, IM, WM/EWM, and integration technologies (API, EDI, IDOCs).
- Ability to strategically analyze and develop solutions for complex SAP-related problems.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with supply chain management systems is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.

Develop detailed project plans, complete with tasks and events and measurements.
