As a Supply Management Analyst in the Inbound Supply Management team at Micron, your primary responsibility will be to ensure availability and continuity of supply and implement a comprehensive inventory management strategy. You will engage suppliers and partners in resolving supply shortages and identifying root-cause to prevent future shortages. **Responsibilities:**
+ Develop, monitor, and optimize inventory replenishment models and supply execution strategies to effectively support manufacturing and minimize waste. This includes forecast and material requirements planning (MRP), safety stock (SS), reorder point (ROP) and lead time maintenance as well as part/material obsolescence management.
+ Manage supplier commitments, monitor forecast accuracy and work with suppliers and business partners to address any concerns in demand volume and timing.
+ Manage inventory scheduling, delivery and make order adjustments with suppliers as necessary. Expedite and elevate delivery issues as needed to ensure continuity of supply.
+ Address inventory shortage issues and resolve root cause.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study.
+ Experience in Purchasing/Procurement or Supply chain preferred.
+ Professional Procurement Certification (ISM, APICS, etc) preferred.
+ Knowledgeable of procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) preferred.

**JOB SUMMARY**

**Your Responsibilities**
As a **Supply Management Specialist II** for **John Deere Dubuque Works** located in **Dubuque, IA** , you will support multi- functional procurement teams responsible for commodity management activities in Quality, Delivery and Cost. In addition, you will:
+ Develop and support ongoing relationships with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve quality and delivery performance; lead efforts to address and improve chronic supplier performance issues
+ Support the factory shared goals of on-time service delivery, material availability and asset management
+ Develop and monitor supplier and part inventory plans to mitigate supplier risk while maintaining goal- level assets; support negotiation of supply agreements with specific suppliers as necessary

Major Purpose:
+ As a Supply Management OFP Specialist, you will:
+ Support and may lead a commodity Strategic Sourcing team to develop and implement sourcing strategies across enterprise/region/division/unit levels.
+ Build and develop a strong supply base for procuring less complex and strategic materials, products, supplies, and services.
+ Be responsible for supplier quality, delivery, and performance, and establish appropriate material replenishment processes.
+ Coordinate and lead efforts to resolve chronic supplier performance issues.
+ Validate suppliers during the early supplier selection process as part of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (PDP).
+ Facilitate quality planning activities with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Proactively analyze critical shortage reports to determine shipment priorities.
+ Communicate with suppliers to maintain continuity of supply.
+ Manage supplier shipment planning in alignment with the SAP schedule.
+ Execute supply management workflows and processes.
+ Facilitate purchase order creation and manage parameters for assigned supplier parts.
