This facility is seeking a Pediatric Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: -Weekend call: Noon Friday - 8am Monday -Vacation coverage: weekday coverage when someone is on vacation. Would cover call Tuesday night and Thursday night (5 PM to 8 AM) and do cases as needed on call, during the day on Wednesday as needed and until Friday morning.

Acute Care Surgery & Trauma Surgeon
Ochsner Health is seeking a **Trauma Critical Care/Acute Care Surgeon** **in Lafayette, LA (BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery).** Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. **Position Highlights** :
+ TICU coverage-7days 24 hours
+ Rotation for Trauma/ACS-average 3.5 nights primary call 3/5 nights back up call
+ Critical Care coverage of surgery and trauma patients is separate from acute care surgery/trauma coverage and will be 1 out of 3 weeks
+ Level 2 Trauma Center
