The employee must be able to successfully complete job specific orientation, competencies, and meet/exceed standards as identified in the criteria based performance appraisal. ORT must demonstrate awareness of patient's rights in all aspects of patient care and reports issue to appropriate person. The Operating Room Technician must demonstrate clinical competence in areas applicable to perioperative care and must be able to successfully demonstrate leadership through coordination of unit equipment and activities. **Requirements**
**Licensure/Certification/Registration:**
+ Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
+ Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
**Education:**
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
