USSPACECOM J8 Model-Based System Engineering SME
KBR is seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates to join the Warfighter Analysis and Assessments team that provides U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) Modeling, Simulation, and Analytical support. An active TS/SCI clearance is MANDATORY, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Integrate Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and techniques that enable analysts to connect space with other warfighting domains.
+ Ensure integration of MBSE provides the groundwork to transition M&S tools easily to an MBSE environment for future development and networking to other data sources.
+ Develop environment to provide a development platform for simulation using MBSE models, tools, and data (Red Threat data sets, Blue Force laydowns (both terrestrial and on-orbit), White Commercial constellations, Unified Data Library (UDL), etc).
+ Provide knowledge to support data storage, configuration control processes, and multi-level security development within the environment.
+ Work with USSPACECOM to create a library of "Space-based" modeling products that support the USSPACECOM MS&A lab facilities and Components.
Qualifications:

+ An active TS/SCI is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
+ A Bachelor of Science degree in modeling and simulation, operations research, or a related field (Master's Degree highly preferred)
+ Understanding of military space operations (Space Domain Awareness (SDA); Command & Control (C2); Satellite Communications (SATCOM); Position, Navigation & Timing (PNT); Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR); Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR); Missile Warning (MW); Offensive Space Control (OSC) and Defensive Space Control (DSC); and Missile Defense (MD); etc.
+ Demonstrated knowledge and expertise on advanced capability concepts, future trade space characterization, future force design MS&A, and evaluation of near-peer competitors via models and simulation.
+ Ability to apply concepts of Cloud-based hosting and Amazon Web Services for government support.
+ Ability to apply concepts of Block definition diagrams of space systems as well as behavior models in the form of Finite State Machines to support space M&S effects for on-orbit and terrestrial warfighting.
+ Knowledge of modeling and analysis using mathematical/quantitative methods.
+ Expertise using the Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Ability to coordinate with others to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially when communicating technical information to audiences with varying backgrounds.
+ Ability to brief and interact with senior-level officers (i.e., GO/FLAG) and senior civilians.
+ Understanding of military operations, or prior military experience in a position that required modeling and analysis on a Joint Staff or Service staff.
+ Proficiency in any of the following programming languages or statistical packages: R, Python, MATLAB, SAS, JAVA, JMP, Excel VBA, STORM, SEAS, Power BI, Tableau, Qlic, SPSS, PSPP, SymPy.
Desired:
+ Previous M&S and staff experience on a CCMD, MAJCOM, HHQ, Joint Staff, OSD etc. is staff highly desired.

This range is for Colorado only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

JOB SUMMARY:
Integrate software into test suites, primarily Virtual servers; develop site and event specific configurations to support test, war games, and exercise events. Operate and troubleshoot systems during test events. Work with external National Team (CLAW) personnel to resolve test lab issues; work with Operations and Sustainment as well as Level-II support personnel to resolve installation and processing issues. Create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files; perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data; troubleshoot both test and operational issues; document test results and prepare test status documentation. Author Spiral and build-level test plan documents and procedures; create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues. Assist software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues; develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to test in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities. Plan and lead integration tests with external elements and sensors; review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, test, network documents as necessary. We are seeking a highly qualified Strategic Integration Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the following position located in the Colorado Springs, CO area.
The Senior System Integration Engineers shall have:
Extensive knowledge in ground based space Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and integration of hardware.
Advanced ability to work with multiple stakeholders to support antenna installation at numerous sites.
Deep experience with OCONUS fielding preferred with knowledge on overseas installation requirements.

The System Architect Specialist SME shall have:

Auria is looking to hire a System Integration Engineer to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO (Schriever Space Force Base).
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
Integrate C2BMC software into the C2BMC test suites at the MDIOC, mainly on Virtual servers; develop site- and event-specific configurations to support testing, war games, and exercise scenarios. Operate and troubleshoot C2BMC systems during test events. Collaborate with external National Team (CLAW) personnel to resolve test lab issues, and work closely with C2BMC Operations and Sustainment, as well as Level II support staff, to address installation and processing problems.

- Create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files, perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data, and troubleshoot both test and operational issues
- Document test results and prepare test status reports
