Looking for a Technology Consultant
The Technology Consultant develops the design and leads the consulting efforts for technology systems on assigned projects. These technology systems include structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, nurse call, audiovisual, and other low voltage communications systems. This position is responsible for managing assigned projects through scoping, pricing, staffing, and ensuring that projects are produced on time, within budget, and of the highest technical quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs project management duties for the team on assigned projects through the establishment and management of the project plan, which is made up of team man-hour budgets, the project schedule, and QA/QC
- Develops design approaches and concepts on assigned projects and seeks assistance from senior technical staff as needed
- Conducts planning and vision casting meetings to determine the scope of the project, current and future needs, process and work flow, and client expectations
- Reviews shop drawings, records changes, and provides feedback to designers based on project specifications
- Assists in the communication with the owner, architect, and contractors as needed
- Conducts site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, owner expectations, and building codes
- Prepares and maintains project budgets
- Actively participates in professional organizations and/or client groups where the technical reputation
and image of the firm may be enhanced - Maintains a focus on keeping up with industry trends and changes with continued self-education and training
- Assists Technology Associates in understanding company technical policies and procedures during the execution of a project
- Acts and performs activities inside and outside the office consistent with ethical engineering standards
An ideal candidate will possess the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or relevant degree AND five years of applicable experience OR eight years of direct experience in the design, application, and/or administration of low voltage system
- Experience working with architects and a thorough knowledge of the architectural design phases
- Must have security clearance
- Healthcare construction experience is recommended
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Knowledge and understanding of low voltage systems such as nurse call, audio visual, public address, security, phone systems etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of NEC, NESC, NFPA, FGI, BiCSi TDMM and other industry related codes

The Role
The Technology Consultant II plays a critical role within the vSOC’s 24/7 operational model, providing intermediate-level triage and analysis capabilities. This position ensures SLA-driven alert handling, accurate enrichment, and timely escalation of potential security incidents across a multi-tenant environment. Analysts in this role demonstrate growing independence in investigations, handle moderately complex alerts, and contribute to operational continuity through clear documentation and collaboration. This role serves as a stepping stone toward senior analyst positions by building technical depth, platform versatility, and confidence in a high-tempo environment.
The Main Responsibilities

Perform real-time alert triage and enrichment across SIEM, EDR, and other telemetry sources.

Apply contextual enrichment using threat intelligence, asset data, and user behavior to assess severity and relevance.

Draft and deliver clear, technically accurate analyst write-ups for escalated alerts, including indicators of compromise and recommended actions.

Issue timely alert notifications and escalate incidents per SLA and SOP requirements.

Ensure all actions are properly documented and traceable.

Provide feedback on recurring false positives, detection gaps, and enrichment issues to improve workflows.

Collaborate with shift teams to maintain situational awareness and ensure smooth transitions.
