JOB PURPOSE:

The Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) plays a crucial role in evaluating, recommending, and providing customized Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) to meet the unique needs of our clients. This position involves working closely with clients, families, therapists, and physicians to ensure the appropriate equipment is provided to maximize independence and enhance quality of life. A strong understanding of clinical conditions and extensive knowledge of rehabilitation equipment are essential for success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, functional limitations, and mobility goals based on therapist assessment findings and physician orders. This includes assessing physical abilities, environmental factors, and lifestyle considerations.
  • Actively collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists (PT,OT,SLP), clients and caregivers to develop individualized plans of care to achieve client mobility goals.
  • Recommend appropriate CRT equipment and associated interventions based on client’s identified physical needs and mobility goals.
  • Manage/Facilitate efficient procurement processes from equipment specification through delivery.
  • Attain and apply clinical, technical and interpersonal skills in a needs analysis of complex mobility issues for individuals with various disabilities.

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS

Physical Demands

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
This is the entry-level class in the technical support series and must possess basic knowledge of and skills in server, PC and voice systems or data systems installation, trouble shooting and basic office productivity applications. Health Benefits: •The District provides a Percentage Based Employer Contribution Plan (PBECP) which includes the following:

Position Overview
The Solutions Engineer role is a client-facing role responsible for managing all phases of physical security system solutions. Acting as a subject matter expert, the successful candidate will lead solution design efforts for technologies including video surveillance, physical access control, and intrusion detection systems. This role is ideal for someone who is both technically savvy and sales-oriented, with a passion for innovative security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with clients to identify needs and requirements for security technology systems.
· Design and architect integrated physical security solutions. Including diagrams, infrastructure topologies, proposals, and Scopes of Work (SOW).
· Present and review proposed solutions with clients in a professional and consultative manner.
· Provide technical expertise and support for video surveillance, access control, and intrusion prevention systems.
· Research new technologies and provide insights to internal teams and clients.
· Support the Securitas Solutions Team during installation and maintenance phases.
· Step into a project management role as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
· Engage in pre-sales activities, including client meetings, presentations, and system demonstrations.

Required Qualifications
· Comfort in a sales-focused environment with compensation based on salary plus commission.
· Working knowledge of video surveillance technologies (e.g., Avigilon, Axis, YourSix).
· Familiarity with Axis Design Tool
· Familiarity with access control platforms (e.g., Avigilon, Lenel, CCure, Brivo).
· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
· Professional certifications in security technology or systems integration.
· Previous experience in physical security sales engineering or consulting.
· Project management experience or PMP certification is a plus.
