The Role

As a Systems Administrator at Air Apps, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining corporate IT infrastructure, user access, and SaaS tools to ensure a secure and efficient work environment. You will oversee device management, network security, access control, and IT support for employees across the organization.

This role requires technical expertise in IT systems, cloud-based tools, and security best practices to optimize and scale internal operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, cloud services, and internal systems.
  • Oversee user access, account provisioning, and identity management across platforms (Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD, etc.).
  • Ensure network security, endpoint protection, and data encryption policies are in place.
  • Monitor and optimize hardware and software performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Implement and enforce IT security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Maintain and support company-wide SaaS tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian, etc.).
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees by setting up and deactivating accounts.
  • Automate IT operations, workflows, and system monitoring to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain software licenses, compliance requirements, and IT documentation.
  • Provide technical support and training to employees, ensuring smooth system usage.
Requirements
  • Around 3+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or IT support.
  • Experience managing cloud-based corporate IT environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, or Azure).
  • Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM) tools (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud).
  • Knowledge of endpoint management solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, or similar MDM platforms).
  • Familiarity with network security, VPNs, firewalls, and zero-trust security models.
  • Experience with IT automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of IT compliance, data privacy regulations (GDPR, SOC 2), and best practices.

Under the direction of the Infrastructure and Systems Manager, the Systems Administrator II is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows server operating systems primarily in a VMWare virtualized environment. The Systems Administrator II oversees Windows desktop OS configuration, customization, and uniform enterprise deployment. Other areas of responsibility may include Encryption Solution Management, NextGen AV management, and Monitoring and Configuring systems alerts. The Systems Administrator II may be the first POC for issues related to server performance, and service interruption/outages for enterprise Windows Server systems, depending on On-Call schedule rotation. May be required to provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies, vulnerability remediation, or other as needed.

  • Windows Desktop OS Deployment Establishes and maintains existing Light-Touch Windows deployments and task sequences to achieve automation with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Automated Deployment Toolkit, and underlying components such as Windows PE, DISM, WSUS, Driver Management, Volume Activation Management Tool, and User State Migration Tool. Sets OS configuration options via Group Policy.
  • SCCM Administration Manages all aspects of SCCM administration, including enterprise patch management vulnerability remediation, compliance reporting, automated software deployment, software package creation, and customization. Skills and Abilities

  • Expertise in Managing Systems Center Configuration Manager in a medium-sized or larger environment
  • Expertise in the use of command line utilities required to manage enterprise systems, including PowerShell, AD Utilities, or other scripting languages in daily operations and in automation.

Job Responsibilities: This role is expected to be able to resolve the following technical issues with little or no assistance:
  • Workstation operating system issues of any kind.
  • Printer issues of any kind.
  • Standard business application (Office, etc.) issues of any kind.
  • Line-of-business application issues for common applications (SAGE ERP, QuickBooks), and for more niche applications with vendor assistance.
  • Server issues of any kind.
  • Basic and intermediate networking issues.
  • Escalation point for technicians.

Job Qualifications:
  • Willing to work in a hybrid setupremotely or on-site at client locations, as required.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Server 2012 to 2022.
  • Experience with VMWare and Hyper V Virtualization.
  • Experience supporting M365 and Azure.
  • Minimum of three years experience in IT Support or a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of Firewalls, Switches, Network architecture, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in supporting MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications.
  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable.

  • First-touch closed: Each ticket that is completed with only one time entry contributes to this number.
  • Utilization: The percentage of time that you are on the clock and billing time to client tickets.
  • CSAT: Scores filled out by clients using the rating system in tickets.

Compensation: Pay rate ranges from $34.56/hour up to $41.28/hour and may vary by experience and location.

Technology Modernization - Strategy Manager
As a Technology Modernization Strategy Manager, you'll provide strategic technology advisory services to address business needs throughout client organizations for the Technology Modernization Practice - all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Perfo rm detailed analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, documenting conclusions, and providing recommendations
+ Utilize and continuously learning new technologies to collaborate with team members and enhance service delivery
+ Engage directly with client executive leadership to lead the analysis, documentation and recommendations of technology strategies, business process improvements, technology platforms architectures, custom application design, strategic roadmaps, transformation business cases and other solutions as required.
+ Leverage various data collection techniques, selecting appropriate method and prioritization to fit project objectives and deliverables, and applying established analytical models to evaluate findings, data, costs and benefits.
+ Assist in strategic planning that integrates multiple functional disciplines including accounting, finance, sales, operations, and human capital management and information technology to support the client's business strategy and operational plans.
+ Assist in strategic road mapping and implementation services that effectively and efficiently meet business objectives and ensure a return on investment.
+ Develop recommendations that leverage artificial intelligence, strategic enterprise architecture, cloud / infrastructure modernization, IT operational improvements.
+ Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans. Participate in other business development activities as appropriate.
You have the following technical skills and qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, information technology, MIS or related field. A master's degree is a plus. MBA is preferred.
+ 5+ years of management consulting experience or equivalent required
+ Must be able to demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, critical thinking aptitude, and experience with data modeling and/or process mapping.
+ Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
+ Experience with logical design for organizational business hierarchies and dimensions in a multi-company environment.
+ Leading and coordinating business and technology capability strategy, operating model strategy, diligence and integration/separation strategy development.
+ Fundamental knowledge and ability to document and assess the business life-cycle processes (i.e., order to cash, procure to pay, record to report, hire to retire, etc.)
+ Hands-on experience and architectural understanding across enterprise business applications (CRMs, ERPs, HCMs) with platform agnostic strategy experience
+ Experience developing strategic business cases for enterprise system transformation (i.e., application rationalization, investment needs, value-added saving opportunities, etc.)
+ Experience developing strategic roadmaps for enterprise system transformations (i.e., prioritized phasing, deployment strategies, etc.)
+ Experience developing strategies that leverage artificial intelligence, strategic architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud / infrastructure architecture, IT operations (ITIL / ITSM)

The base salary range for this position in the firm's Islin, NJ, Minneapolis, MN and Hartford, CT offices is between $152,000 and $28,000
