The Customer Support System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining key support systems and tools that enable effective customer service operations. This includes administration of case management platforms, contact center technologies, Microsoft 365 applications, and data visualization tools like Tableau. The ideal candidate ensures these systems are functioning efficiently, are up to date, and support high-quality service delivery through technical support, user training, and system optimization.
**Your Impact**
+ Administer and maintain customer support platforms, including case management systems and contact center software.
+ Ensure the continuous functionality and performance of critical support tools such as Tableau, Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook), and ticketing systems.
+ Monitor system usage, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate timely resolutions with internal IT or external vendors. Manage user roles, permissions, and configuration changes across support platforms to align with operational needs.
+ Collaborate with Customer Support, IT, and other departments to enhance workflows and system integrations. Support reporting and dashboard development in Tableau to improve visibility into customer service metrics and KPIs.
+ Lead or assist in system upgrades, testing, and documentation. Provide training and ongoing support to Customer Support team members on system features and updates.
**Your Experience and Qualifications**
+ Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field.
+ 2+ years of experience administering customer support systems or contact center platforms.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
+ Experience using and supporting Tableau dashboards and reporting tools. Working knowledge of case management/ticketing systems and contact center software.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

As the VP of Technology Services and Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in aligning strategic initiatives and driving technical delivery excellence within the Engineering Services and Delivery organization. Required:

• Education:

Master Degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus.

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in technology organizations, with a strong background in Integrated application / solution implementation, delivery and O&M using a combination COTS, SaaS and custom application, solution strategy optimizing teams, tools, processes to meet and exceed client satisfaction.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge and expertise across digital technologies and services with emphasis on enterprise wide business solutions, cloud services and capabilities and engineering practices with a strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends such as AI/ML and data sciences.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.

+ Must have 15 completed semester hours before the start of the internship.If a transfer student, must have 12 semester hours completed at a 4-year university.
+ Minimum 3.0/4.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (no rounding) at current institution.
+ Must be able to relocate at indicated work location for the duration of the internship and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation.

The IT Development Program (ITDP) provides program participants with the opportunity to advance their technical and leadership skills through challenging assignments across multiple areas of business. Each ITDP participant has unique program experiences with the possibility of working on different teams in varied worksites over a three-year period. This allows program participants to diversify their technical skills and build their professional network.
In addition, the ITDP allows participants to learn from Caterpillar technical leaders and experts in a variety of team dynamics. ITDP participants absorb, in just a few years, what often takes a decade for young professionals to experience. At the completion of the three rotations, ITDP participants will be placed into a permanent position that aligns with Caterpillar IT's strategic workforce goals.
**What You Will Do:**
Professionals within the program will complete three 12-month rotations, which are defined based on business needs. You must be willing to travel and relocate to any of the three Caterpillar IT placement locations in North America upon hire and throughout each rotation while in the program?Those areas include, but are not limited to Peoria, IL, Irving, TX, Nashville, TN, Corinth, MS, and Mossville, IL.
