Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Support installing and configuring hardware for distributed workforce, including laptop imaging, access control and application deployment

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary/Objectives
The IT System Administrator role supports the overall day-to-day computer operations, file server management, and user access management. This includes but not limited to assisting employees with the installation, configuration, and operation of their computer or mobile device equipment, e.g., desktop, laptop, tablet, smart phone, etc. and with integrating PC systems into local-area and wide-area networks. Additional Essential Functions
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot employee workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
- Facilitate minor hardware component replacements including but not limited to laptop keyboards, screens, RAM, and hard drives
- Provide troubleshooting for employee workstation hardware, software, telecommunications & networking equipment, escalating unresolved topics to the next level of support as necessary
- Distribute pre-packaged software using enterprise deployment tools.
- Plan, coordinate and process Windows 11 OS/feature updates for all company devices.
- Facilitate local backup procedures and offsite data storage in compliance with the company's retention policies.

- Liaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, tickets, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems.
- Implement and maintain regional IT security initiatives and operations designed to enhance IT security and protect intellectual property in the sites, by working closely with Regional Security Council.
- Help identify any non-standard IT practices and realign to corporate policies.
- Support and manage a variety of consumer-oriented devices, e.g., iPhone, and Android devices.

The North America IT Senior System Administrator is responsible for delivering system services across the North America region, ensuring compliance with global standards and practices. Reporting to the Delivery Service Leader for System, this role involves leading the US system projects and roadmap while actively interacting with local users and global IT teams to address IT business and infrastructure topics. Key responsibilities include leadership, project management, proposing solutions for the future and fostering continuous improvement within a high-performing regional team. Additionally, the role involves supervising daily operations, supporting global and local initiatives, and ensuring project delivery aligns with agreed scope, budget, and corporate roadmaps.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
Leadership & Management
- Takes part in SDL team with active interaction with Zone and country leader
- Builds a high performing regional system roadmap that is driven by regional sites master plan and result oriented goals and supports continuous improvement objectives
- Supervise system activities day to day work and projects
- Take initiatives to propose System team improvements at global and local level and actively contribute to local IT Team success
- Contribute to the success of Global System team
- Ensures projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, resources, and timeline. Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
- Interacts with corporate service delivery managers on regional business initiatives to ensure the decision is compliant with the corporate roadmaps (global architecture consistency).

Delivery, Support and Service performance
- Ensures local systems and applications are up and running and that all requests are addressed with defined SLAs and agreed customer satisfaction levels across the business.

- Administer and support Windows Server core, VMware, Veeam B&R technologies and databases.

Vendor management

- Integrates mandatory regulatory compliance requirements in the IS master plan and relevant infrastructure projects: GxP (QI/QO/QP), GDPR.
