Requirements:

• Familiarity with cloud computing such as AWS
• Experience with monitoring tools
• Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure
• Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Integrate hardware and software for existing, emerging and conceptual DoD multi-discipline ISR, cyberspace, analysis, targeting and computing technologies
- Serve as the local JWICS System Administrator responsible for overseeing JWICS operations for all Wing and subordinate unit SCIFs on Offutt AFB
- Responsible for all Unit-wide JWICS Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) and perform JWICS specific touch maintenance to install and maintain computers, servers, and all JWICS related software and hardware. (This also includes but is not limited to account management, network storage, local authentication servers, file servers, user privileges, local group policy, local software testing, restoration operations, contingency planning, and local backups.)
- Ensure security patching is completed and locally downloaded, and also push JAVA, NOTAMS, and TCNO patches the AF JWICS Enterprise is unable to perform remotely.
- Work directly with users at the Offutt AFB and liaise daily with the ESD and ESC AF to help resolve user and network related issues as well as maintain the integrity of the network domain.
- Perform investigative administration operations in support of the Cyber Security Operations Center for malware, spyware, Trojans, or unauthorized software that gets detected on any device on the domain.
- The contractor position is full-time daily operation and may require after hours and weekend duty via on-call support.
- Microsoft Windows system administration, Secure voice, data, and video-teleconferencing technologies, Web development.
- Multi-faceted hardware integration and sustainment inclusive of development, integration, diagnosis, and periodic repair on computer and communication network technologies
- Provide computer system administration and network management.
- Develop recommendations to resolve process issues related to integration management, configuration management, and effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support complex problems and provide solutions that are innovative to establish new theories and practices, leading to new and creative technical solutions to problems.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Information Assurance (IA) related fields required. The Government may substitute 7 years of equivalent military and/or civilian experience for required educational qualifications.
- Possess mandatory CURRENT SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION.
- Possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
- Senior level experience in a full range of IT security principles, including:
- Concepts, practices, products, and services (including system software, database software, and immediate access storage technology)
- Disseminating IT security tools and procedures.
- IT security certification and accreditation requirements.
- Be familiar with and use Active Directory tools to manage accounts.
- Be familiar with imaging computers and upgrading operating systems.
- Be familiar with using scanning tools to scan and subsequently patch devices.
