Responsibilities will include:
- Executing programs following the annual business plan to develop business and achieve the target sales number
- Identifying sales opportunities for AutoChem products within the accounts/territory in the specified target market and application segments
- Developing strong application knowledge and depth to serve as a recognized expert for process optimization and development in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and academic markets
- Executing technical sales consultative support during the sales process including pre and post sales visits including onsite seminars, technical consulting and application feasibility tests (and reporting data)
- Proactively ensuring assigned accounts/territory develops new sales opportunities collaborating with the local sales team through the provision of onsite seminars, technical consulting and application feasibility tests
- Post sale support of existing customers on an ongoing basis with high level product training and application support to drive repeat sales
- Creating and presenting technical papers about key applications at industry seminars, conferences and symposiums
- Identify and develop application solutions that provide high value to the pharmaceutical and high-value chemical markets
- Direct the transfer of knowledge and data from application feasibility studies, industrial and academic applications and technical journals and publications to product management for development
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Crystallization, or related discipline required
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience: chemical engineer, crystallization or advanced degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong background in Particle Engineering or Crystallization
- Strong interest in business development and technical sales
- Significant experience with various analytics technology and automation tools;
- Demonstrated ability to work within a cooperative, team environment and focus on individual, time dependent projects with minimal direct supervision;
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%. Ability to travel worldwide.

As a Technology Support III Specialist at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Bank - Payments Technology Team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience. You will apply your expertise to provide Application support and help establish Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices for critical Payment systems built on modern technology stack as we embrace cloud transformation.
Job responsibilities
- Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm.
- Provides rotational weekend support, with eligibility for comp-off leaves.
- Collaborate across partner teams to establish and maintain Service Level Objective (SLO), Service Level Indicator (SLI) and Error Budget for key Production services and proactively resolve issues before they impact customers.
- Performs essential day-to-day duties around Incident, Problem (RCA), Change Event (monitoring/alerting) management.
- Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability.
- Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools.
- Identify issues for escalation and communication and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders.
- Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
- Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Possess technical skillset in Unix / Linux technologies, Kubernetes, Shell scripting, PowerShell, Python, Oracle / SQL, Control-M, Cassandra, monitoring, telemetry/ Observability tools (ITRS Geneos/ Grafana/ Datadog/ Dynatrace) and messaging frameworks (Kafka, MQ)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting.
- Possess good working understanding of public cloud with AWS Certification as a plus.
- Experience working in banking and payment domains such as: FX Cross Currency, High and low value payment, SWIFT, Real time payment, collection, check clearing, tax payment, partner bank system.
- Collaborate well and possess the ability to foster relationships effectively with diverse groups across geographies, and ability to multi-task, handling complex requirements and is adaptable.

Job Description
Primary Responsibilities

This position is located in Downers Grove, Illinois and will have a hybrid work schedule. The hybrid work schedule is Monday and Friday remote work and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office in Downers Grove, IL.
Hourly rate: $8.00- 19.00 per hour
