Corvid Technologies is seeking a highly motivated, energetic Windows System Administrator to join our team supporting the brightest engineers in the industry.
Main responsibilities:
- Monitor CISA alerts and maintain awareness of current critical endpoint vulnerabilities, addressing them using ManageEngine's patch management system or following suggested mitigation procedures to minimize company impact
- Package third party and internal company software for deployment with patch management
- Approve 3rd party application updates on a weekly basis after testing on non-critical endpoints
- Create inventory reports and alerts using ManageEngine's patch management system or PowerShell
- Monitor and troubleshoot wide scale endpoint issues in terms of updates, software, drivers, including problems relating to YubiKey 2FA logins, blue screens, high CPU utilization, reboot loops etc.
- Explore and test latest windows feature/OS upgrades before wide scale deployment
- Create custom solutions to wide scale deployments or security mitigations when none are available
- Upgrade patch management and ticketing system servers following best security practices
- Provide laptop and desktop support for on and off-site users running Windows 10 and Enterprise Linux 7/8
- Provide exceptional customer service and support via phone, email and in person
- Resolve issues including but not limited to hardware failures, operating system errors, software compatibility issues, and network connectivity
- Identify and escalate complex problem reports or service requests to next tier of support as appropriate
- Work with other team members to ensure the timely completion of complex issues
- Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and products in the field
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

The Technology Sourcing Specialist is a critical role as a strategic sourcing team member, the role will focus on driving value optimization; intelligently and ambitiously reducing the technology cost base via the planning and execution of sourcing events and vendor negotiations; effectively contracting for critical products and services to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation; and leading process improvement and modernization of the technology sourcing function.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Lead technology sourcing events e.g., RFx, benchmarking, sole supplier interactions, complex technology contract negotiations
2. Gather clear requirements and demands, help business in creating clarity of needs (where needed)
3. Challenge requirements and demand (influencing stakeholders of various levels) to align with market best practices (where possible) through industry/market/vendor insights
4. Execute effective and aligned sourcing and negotiation strategies (including process) often leading cross-functional teams of varying levels of seniority
5. Lead vendor communication, being SPOC for the client to ensure best leverage/clarity (internally and externally)

The primary purpose of this role is to assess, support/design, implement, and roll out store initiatives that support store teams with driving business results. This role will accomplish this through the development and implementation of projects, best practices, and process improvements. This role supports the day to day store operations, including sales, service, technology, omni-channel, and store communications.
**What You Will Do**
+ Collaborates cross functionally to effectively deliver projects, best practices, and process improvement initiatives.
+ Coordinates and manages timely execution of projects across stores, from development to implementation.
+ Provides Store Operations Consultants qualitative and quantitative analytics prior to development and after implementation identifying ROI, current/future state, and cost savings.
+ Interprets reporting and develops actionable performance recommendations that are distributed to the key stakeholders.
+ Provides real-time information and guidance to stores requiring assistance with day-to-day procedural questions.
+ Assists Store Operations Consultants with development of process improvement solutions based on field feedback.
+ Leverages customer facing technology to improve productivity and efficiency.
+ Executes the process of documenting policies, procedures, and processes for new store initiatives.
+ Partners with third-party vendors to support and maintain various systems.
+ Familiar with Office 365 products and support.
+ Acts as tech support for various processes and systems.
+ Tests, troubleshoots and remedies IT Tickets.
+ Main support for enterprise communications supports and tools.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree Business, Management, Operations, or related field
+ 2 years Related Industry Experience (Installation, Repair or US Home Improvement)
+ 2 years' Experience in data analytics, performance reporting
**Preferred Skills/Education**
+ 2 years Demonstrated project management experience, such as Gantt Chart design and development
