ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network System Administrator III to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.
The primary function is working with Special Access Program (SAPs) and other classified networks supporting SMC Directorates and/or AFSPC Operational Units. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install, maintain, audit and support a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web/data application service.
- Maintain internet applications and protocols IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, & SSL.
- Maintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as required.
- Interface with local customers and provide IT related support to quickly resolve problems.
- Perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changes. Perform scheduled tape backups on systems as required.
- Manage data backup library to include storage of tapes, disks and other magnetic media at the customer’s location and off-site storage facilities as required.
- Attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, Program Managers and customers as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area or 4 additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- 6+ years total related experience.
- 4+ years of relevant SCI experience.
- Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 such as CompTIA Security + CE, within 6 months of the date of hire.
- Working knowledge of JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to C&A for Legacy systems.
- Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of SAP-related experience highly desired.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.
- Requires travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive and will include both air and ground transportation).
Clearance Requirements:
- Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program.
- Information Willingness to submit to a polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

Assists with the management of ancillary systems and any integrated services. Maintains a structure for detailed governance and documentation around change management protocols, UAT, and back testing. Maintains business rules for data entry, workflow progression and regulatory compliance as specified in change requests submitted by the business stakeholders. Acts as a lead for the system administrator team and ensures optimal performance of all RE systems leading to enhanced productivity and adherence to compliance regulations. Oversees the design and configuration solutions to resolve system related business problems, meet user requirements, and streamline system workflows. Provides technical direction and support in the development of processes and workflows in the use of Encompass360, responsible for analysis, planning, testing, and implementation of projects and tasks. Serves as a liaison between technical groups and stakeholders to coordinate the system's installation and ensure technical compatibility and satisfaction. Leads the design of test cases, testing effort estimations, test management and execution of UAT. Coordinates system mapping between LOS and outside vendors. Works with IT, Digital Channels, Accounting and all appropriate departments to ensure smooth and accurate exports between LOS, Servicing vendor, Sales Tracking, Core Banking system and others. Serves as an escalation point for LOS related support issues from the Business Analysis team, which provides second level support. Coordinates with LFCU's Compliance Department to ensure LOS transactions are in compliance with all NCUA rules and regulations, secondary market standards, and to various federal real estate lending laws. Designs and documents release plans for deploying approved change requests and enhancements to system functionality. Performs system analysis and simulation testing to determine potential impact of deploying proposed system changes. Implements configuration changes and customizations as required by the business. Manages integration of 3rd party vendors and services within the LOS environment, and coordinates with the Company's vendor management resources. Assists in documenting and submitting functional and technical specifications, change requests, test plans, and training documentation of IT Governance review and approval. Collaborates with operations managers and leaders as the Subject Matter Expert on best practices and methods to achieve business objectives using the chosen LOS. Keeps management and end-users apprised of any LOS-related issues, events, or anomalies that may affect system performance or availability. Collaborates with internal or external business analysts and/or developers and consultants regarding custom application development. Consults with and assists management in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of automated programs and internal controls. Provides continuous feedback to management in the form of reports, charts and statistics as requested. Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and year-to-date reports and graphs as requested by management. Job Description
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
- Supports solutions engineers on one or more software applications.
- Participates and executes technical standard analysis, implementation and evaluation of small-scale solution projects within technical area of expertise on the following areas:
- End User Support
- Hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Operating systems and software
- Tools and processes
- Investigates issues, analyzes solutions and implements technical changes on small projects.
- Analyses requirements, and maintains, tests, debugs and integrates application components.
- Supports on making decisions on guidelines and policies, and may look to others to help in the support of making decisions.
- Performs technical analysis and design, modifies and/or configures software and hardware solutions according to Takeda standards, typically executed in a defined project.
- Provides application software development services or related technical support in solutions maintenance or in a defined project.
- Supports the delivery of business solutions deployment to production, handle IMACD-processes of End User Equipment and IT Asset Management.
- Serve as local hands on support for the managed IT infrastructure and the End User Equipment.
- Support on meeting rooms and meeting events
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
- Develops and maintains support documentation according to Takeda Quality Management System (QMS), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Project Life Cycle (ITPLC) standards, policies and procedures.
- Works under moderate guidance and direction.
- Understands key IT and Business objectives / goals and uses this knowledge within its own working field.
Required:
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good oral and written communications skills, with analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to write and speak in the English and local language.
- Efficient time management and coordination of tasks, working in a global IT environment.
- Ability to gain working knowledge of IT solutions and grows expertise in the subject matter area.
- Professional vocational training in Computer Science.
