Key Responsibilities
+ Support the monthly and quarterly financial close process for the TV Networks organization, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies
+ Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations, with a focus on linear distribution, advertising, and other revenue streams
+ Assist in the preparation and analysis of internal financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and reporting packages for senior leadership
+ Partner with Finance and Technical Accounting teams to assess accounting impacts of new or complex business transactions
+ Ensure SOX compliance through the maintenance and documentation of internal controls, and support audit processes by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
+ Coordinate with the Senior Director to identify opportunities for process improvements and control enhancements across accounting operations
+ Contribute to the implementation and ongoing enhancement of reporting systems and tools used in the controllership function
+ Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
+ Collaborate with controllership team and IT on reporting system enhancements (e.g. amortization systems)
+ Coordinate and communicate with various business units, including Financial Planning, Controllership, and Legal
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
+ Minimum of 4+ years Accounting and/or Finance experience, preferably in the entertainment industry
+ Knowledge of general accounting practices and financial accounting standards.

Role Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst, TV Networks will report to the Senior Manager and provide critical financial support across MSNBC, CNBC, Golf Channel, USA, E!, SYFY, and Oxygen. This role is instrumental in driving accurate forecasting, insightful reporting, and strategic analysis of subscriber revenue. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a keen attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to support decision-making across the networks.

The Manager, Global Record to Report (R2R) - TV Networks, supports the execution of Versant's financial close, journal entry processing, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, and account reconciliation activities. Reporting to the Director of Record to Report (R2R), this role is responsible for day-to-day operations and compliance within the R2R process. The Manager will work with internal stakeholders and BPO providers to ensure timely and accurate period-end close while supporting transformation initiatives, including Blackline adoption. Additionally, ensuring the offshore team performance complies with SLAs, providing excellent customer service to the business units (act as a first point of contact) and driving efficiency through continuous improvement within a shared service model.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
+ Execute daily and monthly R2R operational activities including journal entries, intercompany postings, and fixed asset accounting.
+ Coordinate with BPO teams and internal functions to meet SLAs and close deadlines.
+ Prepare and review account reconciliations using Blackline, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.

Qualifications

The Manager, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for working with assigned television productions to ensure compliance with all applicable company, federal, state, local, and/or international environmental, occupational safety and health policies, rules and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities (essential functions):
+ Implement and maintain appropriate safety programs, e.g., Injury and Illness Prevention Program, policies, and procedures as necessary to ensure a safe and healthful work environment for all employees and guests of the productions.
+ Establish, administer, and enforce a program of safe practices for all production personnel.
+ Ensure appropriate pre-lease inspections are conducted for all potential production spaces and resolve any identified EHS issues.
+ Conduct a review/breakdown of each script to identify potential EHS issues, e.g., special effects, stunts, unusual activities, and hazardous locations.
+ Participate in each production's tech scout and production meeting, as necessary, to understand scheduled production activities and provide guidance for any safety issues.
+ Prepare a location safety memo, as required, to inform the production of general location safety issues as well as specific location safety items.
+ Establish and implement procedures for proper hazardous waste accumulation and disposal following company policies.
+ Facilitate and/or conduct EHS testing of any location that presents potential EHS hazards, e.g., testing water quality, air quality, coordinating abatement and/or encapsulation of areas/materials.
+ Attend stunt rehearsals and special effects tests to provide input from the EHS perspective and be on set during the shooting of these stunts & effects, as necessary.
+ Provide education & safety training to production crew, supervisors and management in safety awareness, safe work practices, documentation requirements, and general regulatory compliance, as necessary.
+ Establish a safety committee on productions as required, or when Government regulations require that a committee be formed.

+ Interface with outside regulatory agencies as required, e.g., Fire Department, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) representatives.
+ Participate in the ongoing review of existing, and research and creation of EHS programs, policies, procedures, guidelines and bulletins.
+ Represent NBCUniversal to external professional organizations, peers and employees in a professional manner.
+ Assist with workers compensation claims management.
+ Conduct ongoing review of assigned productions to ensure that the application of EHS processes and systems are effective.
+ Maintain departmental safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory and distribution tracking.

+ Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
+ Must be willing and able to work varied hours as needed to fit the needs of EHS and Production.
+ Must be able to lift/carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, ability to stand/walk a minimum of four (4) hours per day, ability to work with a computer for extended periods, ability to climb ladders, ability to wear respiratory protection equipment and able to wear fall protection, and work in soundstage perms.

The Manager, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for working with assigned television productions to ensure compliance with all applicable company, federal, state, local, and/or international environmental, occupational safety and health policies, rules and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities (essential functions):
+ Implement and maintain appropriate safety programs, e.g., Injury and Illness Prevention Program, policies, and procedures as necessary to ensure a safe and healthful work environment for all employees and guests of the productions.
+ Establish, administer, and enforce a program of safe practices for all production personnel.
+ Ensure appropriate pre-lease inspections are conducted for all potential production spaces and resolve any identified EHS issues.
+ Conduct a review/breakdown of each script to identify potential EHS issues, e.g., special effects, stunts, unusual activities, and hazardous locations.
+ Participate in each production's tech scout and production meeting, as necessary, to understand scheduled production activities and provide guidance for any safety issues.
+ Prepare a location safety memo, as required, to inform the production of general location safety issues as well as specific location safety items.
+ Establish and implement procedures for proper hazardous waste accumulation and disposal following company policies.
+ Facilitate and/or conduct EHS testing of any location that presents potential EHS hazards, e.g., testing water quality, air quality, coordinating abatement and/or encapsulation of areas/materials.
+ Attend stunt rehearsals and special effects tests to provide input from the EHS perspective and be on set during the shooting of these stunts & effects, as necessary.
+ Provide education & safety training to production crew, supervisors and management in safety awareness, safe work practices, documentation requirements, and general regulatory compliance, as necessary.
