**Responsibilities**
+ Direct management and analytical support for transportation distribution, to include HAZMAT, carrier selection/management and tracking analysis in support of daily operations.
+ Assisting with customs clearance and door to door transportation of assets, providing a full range of distribution and transportation support for DoD programs.
+ Contractors must be capable of learning all DoD transportation systems in support of ECMM transportation mission needs, to include cross docks, Loaner Repair Return Center, Low Unit of Measure (LUM), HSMR, Theater Lead Agent for Medical Materiel and AF Reachback requirements.
+ Manages daily transportation activities. Monitors and develops resolutions of all related issues/problems and develops analytical methods for problem resolution.
+ Analyzes logistical and transportation problems to determine scope and course of action required.
+ Plans, develops, and implements internal procedures, methods, and techniques for determining the appropriate mode of transportation services.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
+ Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
**Qualifications**
+ 10 years of field experience providing transportation management and consulting support, utilizing Cargo Movement Operating System, able to address all forms of Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) shipping system and invoice/billing interface systems to account for payment of all items shipped, providing a full range of distribution and transportation support for DoD programs deployments to customers world-wide, and be capable of learning additional transportation systems in support of mission transportation needs as required.

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is currently pursuing an experienced **Transportation Management Center Supervisor** to support various projects located within the Franklin, TN area.
+ Responsible for the organizational management and direct supervision of the Traffic Management Center (TMC) operations staff, facilitating a cohesive and balanced operation
+ Acts as the primary point of contact, on-site, for the client agency
+ Review applicant resumes, conduct interviews, and recommend for hire/advancement
+ Administrative functions, including: invoice processing, shift scheduling, liaising with AECOM corporate management, staff recruitment, training, payroll processing, personnel performance reviews, and conflict resolution
+ Develop and maintain routine personnel performance assessments
+ Coordination of traffic signal operations between client signal system engineers and AECOM control room staff.
+ Maintain 24/7 awareness of the control room's equipment status, coordinating service failures with field maintenance and information technology staff to ensure maximum system availability
+ Coordinate with client on citizen issues related to complaints, inquiries, and public information requests
+ Share (or assume) responsibilities with (for) the client for TMC public relations activities such as: TMC public outreach efforts, facility tours, presentations, and Traffic Incident Management (TIM) team meetings
+ Routinely report to client and company stakeholders on the operation's efficiency and effectiveness in providing regional traffic management, traveler information, incident management, traffic signal operations, and active vehicle detection systems. Prepare regular reports on the performance of the system based on pre-determined measures of effectiveness
+ Assist in maintaining sounds freeway operations by: guiding essential control room operation decisions, developing special event response plans, participating in post-incident analysis exercises, and by ensuring that staff resources are being tasked in an impactful manner
+ Responsible for the comprehensive training and auditing of the operations staff
+ Effect Control Room staff meetings, as required
+ Participate in meetings, conferences, and committees as appropriate as assigned by the client
+ Write and maintain technical documents, including but not limited to the TMC Operations
+ Manual/Standard Operations Procedures, training programs, and TMC website content
+ Serve, eventually, as a subject matter expert for the client and AECOM on TMC control room operations, freeway incident management, operations statistical analysis, and field maintenance practices.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Scope
- Core responsibilities of deploying and maintaining TMS solution and understanding how the Blue Yonder solution can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes

What you'll do
- Serves as a technical owner and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors

What we are looking for
Industry Experience:
- 10 Years of corporate experience - operations, configurations, cloud integrations. Experience can be lesser if knowledge of Technical BY TMS or Supply Chain industry has been acquired in previous Implementation projects (approx. 5 years)
- Expertise in Integration of BY TMS product, Azure Architecture, Solution Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing is required

- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Conduct gap analyses and assess current TMS capabilities to recommend future state processes.
- Map and model new business processes and lead requirements gathering and definition sessions
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze transportation workflows and identify areas for process improvement to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Develop solutions to optimize routing, carrier selection, and freight cost management.
- System Implementation and Support:
