**Description**
The Assistant Transportation Policy Strategist will assist in policy and public engagement efforts for primarily public-sector clients and projects in the transportation and infrastructure industries. This position will assist projects in all aspects of transportation improvements, such as roadway, bridge, and traffic.
+ Assist with developing and implementing policy communications and public engagement plans for public sector clients.
+ Assist with development of policy documents for public sector infrastructure clients.
+ Assist with materials development, attending and participating in public meetings, logging inquiries on public information hotlines, and data management.
+ Assist with planning and logistics for project-related engagement activities, such as constituent surveys, in-person/virtual meetings or events.
+ Assist with developing materials for clients and projects, such as fact sheets, website copy, presentation materials, meeting notifications, etc.
+ Assist with ensuring brand guidelines are considered in project documents.
+ Assist with project meetings, preparing documents and providing comprehensive recap and next steps to the internal team.
+ Assist in compiling reports in the Stakeholder Management System.
+ Assist in organizing and managing project information files and coordinating the interchange of project outreach information to project managers and clients.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field from an accredited program Required

**What You'll Do:**

+ Supports the implementation of the firm's project delivery (SDA) process including Work Planning, Monthly Project Reviews and other project performance methods to ensure quality work, on time, on schedule, to the client's satisfaction.
+ Assists in marketing responsibilities, including client discovery, proposal generation, interviews, and win-to-work activities
+ Maintains client contacts to ensure client satisfaction. Leads and assists in sales and marketing efforts for department's growth.
+ Recruits, hires, develops and retains department staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Optimization Manager to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs across their entire supply chain network. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, US , this role requires a deep understanding of logistics, inventory management, procurement, and demand forecasting. You will be responsible for analyzing current supply chain operations, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions to improve flow, reduce lead times, and increase overall performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proven track record in supply chain management, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce supply chain costs and improve delivery times.
  • Utilize data analytics and supply chain modeling tools to forecast demand and identify trends.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure optimal service levels and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and oversee inventory control systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management and logistics.
  • Proven experience in optimizing supply chain operations, including inventory management, procurement, and transportation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.
  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is highly desirable.
