Safeway Tracy CA Distribution Center has an opening for a Transportation Supervisor.

Main responsibilities:

• Communicating to the work force ways to promote a safe work environment.
• Implement cost-saving measures through working closely with drivers' dispatchers and software vendors.
• Managing equipment and manpower requirements for daily operational needs
• Monitoring employees' daily work assignments and spearheading safety initiatives for the department.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• 2-year college degree, Bachelors preferred or 2 to 5 years of proven supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of Department of Transportation laws and regulations
• Knowledge of HOS and Dispatching routing systems, MOBI and Prospero experience are a plus
• Familiar with a union work environment and time and attendance procedures and requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possess transportation experience including loading of trailers and store delivery procedures.
• Experience driving diesel-powered tractors and current CDL helpful.

**Position Overview**
The Driver/Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for the execution of the day to day operational plans set forth by the transportation department, while providing direction and support to fellow transportation team members. The supervisor will also communicate and coordinate with other functional areas such as warehouse shipping, receiving, safety, customer service, maintenance and routing in order to handle and resolve any operational issue that may arise during the course of executing the plan. + Responsible for championing a team of drivers to optimal performance. This includes tracking of key metrics, coaching through performance issues, behavior modification counseling as per company guidelines and maintaining morale.

+ Responsible for monitoring yard operations to align with warehouse needs. Ensuring yard jockeys follow best practices in the areas of yard organization and trailer utilization, while practicing all safety guidelines set forth by the company.

The Transportation Officer is responsible for the secure and safe transportation, guarding and escorting, of individuals from specified sites to designated points. Transportation Officers duties include, but are not limited to, armed transportation services, escorting individuals to and from transport vehicles, and monitoring in accordance with customer's standards. Transportation services entail over the road transport services, courtroom guarding, security services, and other related transportation and guard duties. The Transportation Officer is responsible for ensuring that the transportation vehicles are in safe and correct working order. The Transportation Officer is to ensure that they are in complete control of the transport vehicles at all times and that vehicles are operated in a safe and legal manner.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Inspect and prepare transportation vehicles for daily operation requirements; perform pre- and post-trip inspection of vehicles; fill out required paperwork to report any damage or defects
+ Conduct pat-down searches; ensure that individuals are properly secured prior to leaving a facility and while in a vehicle; ensure that all paperwork is obtained and completely accurately and thoroughly when obtaining individuals at a facility and delivering them to their appropriate destinations

**Job Description**
We are seeking a **Global Supply Chain Counsel** to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and services. In this role you will work closely with the Chief Supply Chain Officer as a trusted advisor in all areas of legal risk primarily as it relates to supply chain management. A successful candidate for this position will be an independent thinker and team player, with a demonstrated ability to be a strong strategic partner with clients. They will need to be able to think on their feet and feel comfortable providing legal advice to company leaders in a business-friendly manner.
This position will report to the **General Counsel** and will be located in Odgen, UT or Irvine, CA.
**As the Global Supply Chain** **Counsel** **,** **you will have an opportunity to:**
+ Play a critical role in leading the transformation of the Revelyst supply chain organization to identify and execute strategies to work more efficiently and effectively.
+ Apply legal framework in partnership with Finance and Supply Chain to develop a global legal strategy, including standard terms and conditions, MSAs, and SOWs with the vendor landscape.
+ Understand latest developments related to the supply chain and logistics industry, and changes to key supplier/vendor business conditions to improve Revelyst's strategic position through application of legal framework.
+ Maintain current knowledge of laws, regulations and case decisions that bear on supply chain management, including awareness of international trade regulations, ESG standards, product safety and quality regulations, data privacy and security regulations, anti-corruption, and bribery regulations toprovide proactive legal advice asrequired.
+ Advise on risk and implications to commercial terms and agreements, and upon request provide legal advice to other departments as required.
+ Structure and oversee application of consistent global legal best practices.
+ Lead organizational structure, governance and administration of document routing, cataloging, storage and maintenance across software and service suppliers/vendors
+ Establish our contract expiration process (i.e., 180/90/60/30 reminders, owners, actions, and risk) by category (i.e.,indirect and direct sourcing, distribution and transportation, repair, and disposal, etc.).
+ Provide legal review, advice and drafting in negotiating contracts for the acquisition of goods and services, such as distribution, transportation, purchase, rental, service agreements, assuring consistency with business terms, policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Establish and assist in the negotiatians with our Sourcing Team regarding long-term agreements with critical/strategic suppliers to help ensure best value options for the company.
+ Coordinate and ensure that all proper signing authorities and governance processes are observed on Supply Chain contracts.
+ Demonstrate knowledge of the organization's core values and incorporate them in the performance of duties.
+ Review and revise policies, procedures and training materials as needed.
+ Develop training materials and provide legal training on substantive legal topics.
+ Proactively negotiate and reviewenterprise level contracts, beyond the Supply Chain function,as needed.

**Pay Range:**
Annual Salary: $200,000.00 - $225,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

The Director of Supply Chain will lead multiple teams of supply chain professionals across various sites in the US and Mexico. These teams are responsible for both direct and indirect procurement, developing and implementing strategies for our future supply base, managing supplier performance, and achieving internal business objectives.

Position Summary:

As a Distribution Operations Intern you will play an active role in the operation of a fast paced multi-million-dollar distribution center. For 12 weeks during the summer, you will join our Distribution Operations team in one of our distribution centers across the US and receive an exceptional experience through a mix of on-the-job training, project management experience and ongoing mentorship from your leadership team.
