The Supply Chain Analyst is a strategically embedded role focused on delivering data-driven operational improvements throughout our organization. This position partners directly with leadership across Distribution Center operations and field routing logistics to analyze performance, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions that improve cost control, productivity, inventory accuracy, labor effectiveness, and the overall customer experience. This role is ideal for a high-capacity analyst who enjoys solving operational challenges with data and wants to contribute meaningfully to a company's service and distribution excellence.
What You'll DoDevelop data models, KPIs, and insights to improve distribution center performance, including throughput efficiency, labor utilization, inventory control, and replenishment cycles.
Deliver performance intelligence across warehouse logistics and route execution, highlighting opportunities for efficiency and consistency.
Collaborate with operations, routing, and warehouse leadership to design and maintain operational KPIs tied to accountability, customer service, and cost containment.
Provide ad hoc and project-based analysis to support tactical decisions and long-term strategic planning.
Build tools and reports in Excel and Qlik Sense to simulate scenarios, streamline decision-making, and enhance performance tracking.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly across technical and non-technical teams, empowering data-led operational action.
Who You AreAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, modeling, Power Query).
Experienced in Qlik Sense, Power BI, or other BI/reporting tools.
Strong understanding of distribution science, including inventory flow, throughput measurement, and labor analytics.
Operational exposure to routing logistics, delivery territory optimization, or direct-store delivery (DSD) service models.
Ability to connect operational data to business goals, identifying and communicating high-impact opportunities for performance improvement.
Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills; experience working independently with cross-functional partners.
Additional Skills & Experience:
Prior experience with Python to support data cleaning, modeling, and reporting.
Prior experience in refreshment services, food/beverage logistics, or field-based distribution environments.
Working knowledge of SQL or HTML is a plus but not required.

A Supply Chain Analyst will maintain solutions as it relates to the customer agreement and may recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency, provide cost savings or reduce support. Qualifications

Salary Range: $ 110,000 - 125,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Spend Management & Supplier Management: Oversee and manage the associated spend and supplier relationships for the metal category. Ensure optimal performance from key suppliers and monitor costs.
- Category & Sourcing Strategy: Develop, maintain, and refine sourcing strategies for the metal category to align with organizational goals and market conditions.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations and manage the contract process, including supplier briefs, contract redlining, and execution via DocuSign.
- Pricing & Purchase Information Records: Own and manage pricing updates for metal raw materials. Ensure purchase info records are consistently updated and local materials management aligns with pricing agreements for purchase orders.
- Plant/Site Coordination: Act as the point of contact for site-specific needs related to supply and suppliers. Expedite raw material shipments and provide support during emergency situations to ensure procurement does not become a bottleneck.
- Internal Stakeholder Management: Serve as the go-to person for questions, issues, and projects relating to the metal category, collaborating with teams such as Supply Chain, Logistics, R&D, Quality, and Operations.
- Claims & Supplier Performance: Actively manage supplier performance, resolving issues with suppliers and ensuring issues are recorded and escalated as needed.
- Invoicing & Vendor Setups: Support local procurement teams with invoicing issues and the setup of new vendors.
- Reporting & Spend Auditing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reports and presentations. Regularly audit key supplier invoices to ensure pricing agreements are being honored.
- Procurement Process Support: Guide operations to follow proper procurement processes and ensure adherence to minimum quoting and contract procedures.
- Category Growth Focus: Work closely with the product management team to identify growth opportunities, manage product changes, and oversee new product introductions in the metal category.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on metal industry trends and emerging applications to provide relevant insights and maintain a competitive advantage.
Operational S&OP (Daily):
- Regularly update sales forecasts, production plans, and raw material supply plans based on daily interactions with various functions.
- Monitor inventory forecast levels and identify potential disruptions. Propose and coordinate mitigation plans with stakeholders.
- Ensure proper coordination of inventory control, developing strategies for slow-moving materials and establishing safety stock levels.
Tactical S&OP (Monthly):
- Develop the Master Production Schedule and Vendor Product Purchase Plan, considering sales input, plant capacity, and supplier allocations.
- Track performance against the monthly plan, including production, sales, and purchase plans. Implement corrective actions for any variances.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to manage availability for oversold/undersold forecasts and align plant resources with promotional plans.
- Develop supply and sourcing models to support data-driven decision-making.
- Work with purchasing and plant teams to analyze capacity and address supply chain bottlenecks.
- Plan procurement activities and financial expenditure aligned with operational and marketing requirements.
Projects & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at reducing costs, improving efficiency, and creating value across the organization.
- Spearhead various projects focused on improving procurement processes, sourcing efficiency, and supply chain resilience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
