**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.

The Medical Imaging Specialist is responsible for providing CT and MR imaging expertise for the client's 3D modeling service and operation team. Education and Experience:

Position Overview

The Sr. Medical Promotional Review Specialist is an integral member of the Medical Affairs team. This individual will be responsible for providing global medical/therapeutic/scientific guidance and assessment as part of core teams that create and review professional education and commercial collateral materials (including sponsored articles, cases/case reviews, blog/social media posts, professional education slide decks/in-service decks, event promotional flyers/banners etc.). This role will cover the entire Shockwave Medical portfolio and will work in close collaboration with Regulatory, Professional Education and Commercial partners. The Sr. Medical Promotional Review Specialist will also serve as a two-way scientific exchange resource by accurately communicating specific and balanced product and disease information through the on-going critical evaluation of clinical and scientific information while adhering to legal, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for the medical, therapeutic and scientific review of professional education / commercial promotional materials (e.g. in-service decks, social media posts, press releases, etc.).

  • Support the medical sciences team in periodic review of clinical reports, abstracts, manuscripts, and other materials related to scientific data and information to ensure data are represented accurately.

  • Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in data pertaining to all Shockwave Medical marketed products and competitive technologies through attendance at key scientific conferences, literature surveillance, and interaction with internal and external customers.

  • Support unsolicited scientific on- and off-label requests for information, linking Shockwave Medical scientific data to real-world clinical practice to meet customer needs.

  • Support the development of scientific communications materials (i.e. podium presentations, manuscripts, abstracts)

  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a scientific or business field. Masters degree in a scientific or Advanced degree preferred (PhD, MD).

  • 3+ years of related Medical Affairs experience; preferred 2+ years direct Medical Affairs promotional review experience in the medical device industry. Medical device industry experience in Medical Affairs for a cardiovascular device company preferred.

  • Knowledge of FDA and international regulations, including, but not limited to, medical product communications and response to unsolicited requests for off-label information.

  • Works effectively on cross-functional teams. Demonstrated willingness to take responsibility for projects and tasks.

  • Ability and knowledge in correctly assessing, summarizing, and citing clinical and scientific information and data sources.

  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal skills across various audiences.

  • Operate as a team or independently while maintaining flexibility and resilience.

  • Statistical analysis knowledge preferred.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including potential international travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

US: $89,000- $43,750 / Bay Area: 103,000- 165,600
