**What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to manage visitor flow as needed.
+ Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and emergency responders as required.
+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Customer service experience is preferred.

The Medical Appeals Specialist oversees the processing of Medicare and other insurance appeals and fulfills medical records requests.

- Monitor the Medical Review email
- Download medical charts from the EMR sheet
- Prepare medical charts for submission in the appeals process and submit either by mail, facsimile or applicable portal
- Maintain spreadsheets of medical records submission history
- Organize spreadsheet and transfer data to workbooks once submitted
- Create reproducible and reliable reports using real data
- Maintain meticulous attention to timelines, details, and Medicare requirements
- Create reports to measure the current amount of billing under review, outcome and document recoupment totals
- Communicate documentation requirements as well as recent changes to documentation requirements to management
- Other responsibilities as determined by Director of Compliance
- Communication will be accurate, efficient, effective, and in a professionally friendly manner with providers, internal, and external staff

- Professional degree in a healthcare discipline. Licensed clinical providers are preferred.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting for up to three (3) hours per day; three (3) hours a t a time. Standing for up to eight (8) hours per day; eight (8) hours at a time. Walking for up to six (6) hours per day; one (1) hour at a time. Frequent fingering, handling, grasping, twisting, and turning as it relates to therapeutic procedures. Consistently lift, carry, and push objects up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift, carry, and push objects up to 75 pounds. Rarely lifting with assistance, up to 100 pounds. Rarely pushing and pulling patients weighing up to 300 pounds in a wheel chair or stretcher. Occasionally stooping and bending. Must be able to perceive attributes of an object through touch. Seeing as it relates to normal near, far, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation and high and low frequencies.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS: MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice. Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board.
