SmartTalent Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Administrator to join our team for a client in Monroe, WA. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing system-based shipping and receiving processes, as well as supporting the physical movement of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on team player who is equally comfortable working in an office setting and a warehouse environment.
TITLE: Shipping & Receiving Admin
LOCATION: Monroe, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
PAY: $20–$25/hour, DOE

JOB DUTIES:
·Process shipments and receipts accurately using internal software systems
·Physically receive, stock, package, and ship materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
·Close jobs in the system upon completion
·Provide backup support for purchase order generation and customer order entry
·Scan and file documents for record-keeping
·Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
·Work both independently and collaboratively with the team
·Spend approximately 50% of time in the office and 50% in the warehouse or outdoor areas
REQUIREMENTS:
·High school diploma or equivalent.
·Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and/or purchasing
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
·Comfortable with both physical labor and administrative tasks
·Ability to self-direct and manage time effectively
·Bonus: Experience in inside sales or customer service

- Use scanning technology and POD technology to handle materials of the warehouse

- Receive UPS and FedEx and transfers (locations and freight entry)

Job Description- Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials to be moved
- May feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels or other in-process product to and from the equipment in the area assigned
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. May load materials into trucks and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
- Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher
- May use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
- Good knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic warehouse procedures, and the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard procedures
- Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions
- Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials
- Good skill in the use of shrink-wrap and strapping equipment, powered lift equipment, pallet jacks, manual dollies, carts or hand trucks and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipment

Additional Information
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.00 to $0.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. Essential Tasks:
- Support production needs by staging material in various locations throughout the shop; including and not limited to grinders, saws, shot blaster, furnaces, coating bays in both forge shops.
- Operate lift truck, yard truck, combi-lift, Glama or other IME to transport materials, supplies or other items generally within the confines of the Bakers Campus; includes moving material between the two forge shops.
- Maintain daily IME/crane checks, notify maintenance of any service needs prior to use or while in use.
- Work with schedulers for priorities staging material in at operations throughout the shop.
- Receive/create material in MPT/Oracle.
- Ensure batches are delivered to correct areas.
- Coat material to current standards using manual or automated methods of applications.
- Prepare and maintain related files, records and reports.
- Operate various cranes to move material within the department.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition, utilizing skid steer, sweepers and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain work area, adjusting rails and organizing material to maintain standards and safe work environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and comply with ATI's code of business conduct.
- Maintain safe working environment and reporting any safety concerns to leadership.
Non-Essential Tasks:
- Support yearly inventory cycle counts.
- Perform other duties as needed.
