We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and technically savvy Senior Director of Product to lead the development and growth of all our backend services such as content management systems and content API as well as the flow of user data from the front end (website, mobile apps and OTT apps) into our downstream systems such as email newsletters, customer data platform and the integration of ads, analytics and martech into our front-end products. This role will be instrumental in defining how we leverage audience data, content intelligence, and service integrations to create a great user experience for our free users, registered users and paying customers as well as ensuring we have the right monetization in place.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in building B2B and B2B2C products, working cross-functionally across engineering, editorial, marketing, sales and legal to deliver data-driven solutions that support both the business and the consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Product Strategy & Vision: Define and lead the roadmap for the user data products for Versant's news brands, namely CNBC. MSNBC and E!Online, aligning with company objectives and revenue opportunities.
+ Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, ad sales, marketing, editorial, analytics, privacy and legal teams to ensure requirements are understood.
+ Use case definition and prioritization: Work with stakeholders to understand and document use cases and then help prioritize those use cases across multiple systems
+ Collaboration and Enablement: Understand what the front-end teams and product managers are trying to achieve and help guide and design the solution in order to enable their work
+ Innovation & Growth: Identify opportunities to turn system capabilities among our tech vendors into solutions to stakeholder problems and customer-facing solutions. Identify cross-cutting systems and joins of data held in various systems to come up with personalization, segmented experiences and delightful experiences
+ Testing and data-driven culture: Help enable a testing and outcomes based culture by using our data and analytics stack to inform stakeholders and product managers on what's working
+ Execution & Delivery: Drive execution from ideation to launch, ensuring high-quality delivery by figuring out how to sequence work in our back-end systems and how to release value in the form of thin slices.
+ 10+ years of experience in product management, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
+ Experience in the media, publishing, streaming, or advertising industries is highly preferred.
+ Deep understanding of data platforms, APIs, microservices, personalization systems, and audience targeting tools.
+ Track record of delivering outcomes by stitching together various data types such as user identity, analytics, 3rd party data integrations and content personalization
+ Proven ability to influence other product teams and stakeholders
+ Ability to take complex problems and to simplify, clarify and synthesize to get teams aligned and working in the same direction
+ Strong analytical mindset, with experience using data to drive decisions and communicate value.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong bias for action.
Preferred Experience:
+ Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data strategy.
+ Experience in subscription, ad-tech, or content distribution platforms.
+ MBA or technical degree a plus.

The Director Of Data Governance will lead all activities pertaining to data governance and quality as part of the Ontada organization. This role will be pivotal in overseeing the framework and execution of data governance and quality strategy, as well as design and implement policies and procedures. Collaboration will be at the core of success as this role will work with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Compliance, Legal, Product, Technology, and Life Sciences. This role will also work closely with key stakeholders across the Oncology ecosystem to support data governance in accordance with and in support of Enterprise Data Governance, Compliance and Legal.
Key Responsibilities- Advanced understanding of best practices for data governance, data quality, data privacy and requirements and best practices for managing Healthcare Data
- Develop and maintain the organization's data governance framework, including policies, standards, and processes
- Leads team in management of day-to-day data governance activities
- Establish data governance best practices and provide guidance to team members and peers to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Works closely with Business Unit Compliance and Legal functions to ensure data access, security, and privacy standards are maintained and to validate compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to identify data quality gaps and implement interventions to remediate data errors
- Participates in multiple aspects of commercial data sourcing and generation with an emphasis on understanding and implementing data use agreements and enforcement of data use rights
- Responsible for inventory and catalogue of key data assets and works closely with other stakeholders and other functions to evaluate future data needs or existing data gaps
- Coordinate data governance initiatives, manage project timelines, and ensure successful implementation of data governance strategies
- Remain up to date on industry trends, technology and best practices related to data governance
- Works across multiple McKesson segments and business units to identify and respond to both internal and external opportunities

Advanced knowledge of statistical applications within Financial Services to interpret data requests and identify data analytics opportunities. Advanced knowledge and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (Excel, Access, SPSS).
