- Play a key role in shaping the future of HPE globally and how customers are empowered with the right tools to manage their purchases and projects, as a part of the eCommerce, Experience, Change, and Launch team
- Responsible for the quality of HPE’s eCommerce platform UI from end-to-end
- Work in a small, multi-disciplinary team to create user experiences from ideation to production, including product vision setting, designing solutions, prototyping, collaborating across functions, and overseeing implementation.
- Be involved in every aspect of the eCommerce development cycle, from brainstorming the next innovation to validating the existing assumptions.
- Identify and prioritize the most important product questions that need to be answered, in collaboration with eCommerce Operations, Platform and Capabilities teams and HPE business units.
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and ensure UI quality across multiple websites
- Collaborate with numerous stakeholders to gather and understand detailed requirements
- Employ industry and UX/UI design best practices
- Optimize sites for ease of use
- Ensure responsiveness across various device types (i.e., desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Provide support throughout the build and launch process of website applications
- Design and conduct user research (from discovery to evaluative, from qualitative to quantitative) and effectively communicate research insights, UX/UI proposals and product ideas to the team.
- Provide requirements for User Behavior Analytics dashboards and use them to understand user behavior, prioritize improvements, and validate experience changes
- Understand the end user and provide an informed perspective on the right user experience, level of fidelity needed for design and testing, behavioral monitoring, research needs, etc.
- Advocate customer needs through storytelling, including content writing, visual, and verbal communication.
- Deliver supporting artifacts for multiple digital strategy engagements, including user flows, experience, and customer journey maps, personas, competitive analysis, and heuristic evaluations.
- Iterate through the UI design process where you will create low-fidelity sketches and wireframes, build interactive prototypes, and deliver high-fidelity designs.
- Use existing design systems and standards, and work to improve these systems and standards as necessary.
Required qualifications

- Outstanding UX/UI ability, including interaction design, visual design, product thinking.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce UX/UI best practices
- Figma expertise in developing UI designs, create interactive prototypes, apply design system standards, and manage design portfolios.
- Strong understanding of how to use User Behavior Analytics to understand ecommerce customer behavior and inform design decisions.
- Strong, proactive collaboration and self-management skills, comfortable working with a small and agile team.
- Work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to achieve desired results.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional agile team environment and iterate through the design process.
- Strong communication, presentation, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conceptualize, develop and articulate design decisions to key stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills; excellent follow-up skills required.
- 4+ years of UX/UI experience.
- 2+ years of eCommerce experience.
- Portfolio of work demonstrating UX/UI design skills and processes.

- Experience with B2B ecommerce platforms

- Experience applying WCAG accessibility standards
- Ability to analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
- Prior experience standing up User Behavioral Analytics toolsets and processes
- Knowledge of design, prototyping, and research tools other than Figma (Abstract, InVision, User testing.com, Optimal Workshop, Survey Monkey, Hotjar).

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join HPE’s eCommerce, Experience, Change, and Launch (EECL) team to evolve our B2B Experience strategy for HPE’s direct customers.
This role has a preference to be on site in HST, if located within a reasonable distance of an HPE site, the expectation would be 2+ days a week. For the right candidate this role may be open to other HPE sites or remote work
