**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience**

Your New Role

The Director, User Research is responsible for overseeing a distributed WB Games User Research team responsible for helping to create best-in-class games with maximum potential commercial outcome.  

Responsibilities will include developing a vision, mission and culture, managing and growing a team, developing and improving new methodologies, and ensuring the team has the capacity needed to support our projects.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Managing and motivating a distributed team across 3 countries

  • Support team members in setting professional goals and developing personalized career growth plans, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

  • Identify key challenges and develop appropriate solutions

As a User Research Moderator , you will:

Join a talented and diverse team of user researchers as you take your first step into the game industry while working on the largest gaming franchises in the world. In this role, you'll serve as the voice of the player base to developers as you help guide the evolution of games in development based on player feedback.
  • Assist with the execution of user-tests including setup, breakdown, game review, study moderation intake/outtake of participants, recording of the players' experiences, and other research data collection related activities.
  • Assist in maintaining lab rooms and equipment
  • Assist with recruiting participants through internal or external recruiting methods as needed
This is a part-time opportunity.

Schedule: 8am-5pm, 3 days a week, 20-29 hours a week on an as needed basis, subject to change?

The ideal candidate must have:
  • A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required
  • Good interpersonal communication (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Adaptable and quick learner that enjoys tackling a large variety of problems
  • Must be able to handle a variety of responsibilities
  • Able to maintain a professional and friendly attitude with coworkers and participants
  • Experience with and passion for video games is a must
  • Experience with first person shooters on console is a plus
  • Experience with user research, UX, or game testing is a plus, but not a requirement
