Vehicle Maintenance Foremen provide leadership and direction to the maintenance staff. This position is a working foreman and will regularly perform maintenance duties. Foremen are responsible for performing inspections, diagnostic testing, repairs, and maintenance on the vehicles to ensure trucks are safe and on the road.

Days: Monday-Friday

Shift: 12:00 PM- 2:00AM

Responsibilities of Position:

• Regularly communicate with management regarding the status of vehicles, containers, and/or other equipment.
• Ensure repairs to vehicles are completed per company maintenance schedules.
• Ensure proper diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical issues is completed and proper repairs are made.
• Ensure all repairs to vehicles, equipment, and related components are completed in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed to company standard.
• Inspect, repair, and/or overhaul vehicle support systems, such as electrical, air, hydraulic and brake systems.
• Perform roadside repairs and adjustments.
• Ensure all safety devices on vehicles are in good working order.
• Responsible for instructing personnel on proper maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
• Assess that technicians have proper skill sets per job descriptions.
• Perform required administrative duties when necessary, such as cycle counts, parts requisitions, warranties, etc.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties related to tools, materials, shop, and work areas.
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers.
• May assist in other areas of the vehicle maintenance shop as needed.
• Maintain accurate records (time, maintenance orders, and parts usage) in SAP.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• May be required to travel within the district for training purposes or business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities Needed for Position:

• Ability to obtain CDL B, preferred.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to safely drive service vehicles and vehicles in and out of the service area, as well as a test drive.
• Must possess the necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.
• Familiarity with using a computer and diagnostic software.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department, or line of business.

Experience & Knowledge Needed for Position:

• Minimum 3 years performing repair and maintenance on heavy trucks and diesel engine vehicles, equipment, and related components preferred.
• Experience using repair manuals, wiring (electrical) diagrams, and schematics necessary to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure
• Waste industry experience preferred.

Physical Requirements in a Regular workday:

• Frequently lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 35lbs. Occasionally up to 75lbs.
• Continuously working outside in changing temperature, wet/humid conditions.
• Continuously working in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, other airborne matter.
• Continuously walking/standing/stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling/climbing and/or balancing.

• Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.

Description & Requirements

Maximus is currently hiring for Diagnostic Reschedulers to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Diagnostic Rescheduler is responsible for processing all rescheduled VES exams and objectively assign the reason for the reschedule for internal and VA customer tracking purposes.

Due to contract requirements, only US Citizen or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process all reschedules to completion each working day.
- Notify all veterans and/or providers regarding reschedules.
- Provide daily reports to Operations and Compliance for all weather related reschedules to facilitate restart of postdate.
- Communicate with other internal departments.
- Send daily productivity email with number of daily processed cases to management team.
- Report errors created by other departments and notify the Scheduling Supervisor.
- Assist with processing cancellations when volume increases beyond staffing capacity.
- Assist schedulers if volume increases beyond staffing capacity.
- Promptly address communications on a daily basis.
- Must abide by HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of records and personal information.

Maximus is currently hiring for Diagnostic Schedulers to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Diagnostic Scheduler is responsible for scheduling diagnostic appointments for veterans within time and distance guidelines set by the VA, working to find and negotiate appointments that are the most convenient for veterans as far as date and time of service and distance traveled, and communicating with facilities to ensure they have all necessary veteran information, pertinent billing information, and Doctor credentialing information pertaining to VES and its affiliates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule veterans based on regional availability of facilities, availability of veterans, and VA expectations while utilizing mapping software and other tools.
- Prioritize scheduling based on VA and VES expectations.
- Act as a point of contact for facilities in order to certify that veterans are seen according to VES guidelines and in a timely manner.
- Access vendor websites and materials to coordinate shipping.
- Assist diagnostic management with reschedules while adhering to internal and VA guidelines.
- Ensure that all HIPAA standards are met throughout the scheduling and Claimant Appointment Packet (CAPS) process.
- Calculate mileage to safeguard the compensation of veterans for travel to Diagnostic appointments.
- Assist diagnostic uploaders with redundancy checks by cross referencing facility correspondence with VES databases to ensure all diagnostic results have been received.
- Assist add- on scheduler with last minute scheduling requests from the QA dept.
- Contact veterans via phone or email to ensure effective communication regarding cases when necessary.
- Provide assistance to various individuals in other VES departments directly in relation to specific VES cases.
- Maintain facility information and obtain up-to-date contact information for facilities in order to execute a cohesive scheduling process.
- Continuous monitoring of improvements in ICD10 coding, to certify that veterans are being seen for the correct diagnoses.

- Ability to work a training schedule of 8am - 5pm CT Monday - Friday required

- Ability to commit to a one-month training with zero absences required

- Ability to work a schedule between 7am-6pm CT Monday - Friday required

- This role requires access to a personal mobile smartphone to support company-approved communication apps.

The Diagnostic Scheduling Communication Specialist is responsible for handling incoming scheduling communications and dispersing provider and facility information to team members. Additionally, they help with specialized administrative functions to supplement the regional teams, Team Support Specialists, and the Team Lead.

- Monitor and process pending Claimant Appointment Packets (CAPS) schedule status.

The Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. As a vital member, you learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, this role involves hands-on learning to address various automotive systems and services. Automotive Technicians participate in routine inspections, contribute to vehicle assessments, and assist in repair procedures. Additionally, Automotive Technicians may interact with customers to explain repair procedures, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service. Overall, this role demands a combination of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to build a solid foundation in automotive repair while contributing to the overall success of our team.
Pay Range: $7.00 - 25.50
**Responsibilities**
+ Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
+ Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
+ Install batteries and check electrical systems.
+ Perform tire maintenance.
+ Install parts.
+ Road test vehicles.
+ Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1 - A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed)
