The Sourcing and Vendor Management Analysts (Claims Services) will:
- Support the development and implementation of strategic category management initiatives specific to P&C Claims, including but not limited to: Appraisers, Independent Adjusters, Property Adjusters (independent or firm-based), Estimators, Restoration Services, Housing and Accommodation Services, Property Subrogation Servicesand Claims Technology Management Services.
- Conduct spend analysis initiatives.
- Lead necessary RFx processes to align with P&C Claims requirements.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, service level agreements (SLAs) and performance guarantees.
- Collaborate with P&C Claims leadership, field claims adjusters, branch location leadership and Sourcing leadership across various lines of business and spend portfolios.
- Drive Cost reduction strategies.
Establishes critical business and/or IT relationships with leadership structures to support, develop and implement sourcing and vendor management initiatives that align to successful obtainment of organizational objectives. Conducts vendor performance analysis and management in collaboration with risk management and category stakeholders to maintain and improve performance delivery expectations. Support and/or lead negotiation and bidding strategies along with commercial agreement efforts in order to deliver value-add opportunities based upon current and future business needs.
This position will have a focus on vendor relationship and performance management, contract development, agreement negotiations, and strategy development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and leverages a broad view of commercial agreements with vendors to obtain terms and cost structures on behalf of business and/or IT stakeholders. Utilizes industry knowledge and vendor relationships to create enterprise-wide goods and/or services efficiencies and cost improvement opportunities.
- Leverages historical knowledge and experience to effectively guide business and/or IT leadership through the commercial agreement development and execution process, regardless of document type or category.
- Effectively navigates all aspects of negotiating complex agreements, and applies well-informed guidance, both internally and externally, towards the development and agreement of value-add, favorable terms and conditions.
- Work cross-functionally throughout the organization to develop and collaboratively manage vendor relationships and performance, that span multiple business categories and segmentation types.
- Takes appropriate actions, both internally and externally, to positively manage vendor performance expectations and to drive innovation, cost savings and business continuity programs.
- Assists in the negotiation, implementation and enforcement of vendor performance guidelines, obligations and service level agreements to the organization.
- Coaches and trains team members and stakeholders on how to apply strategies that develop effective, value add interventions, and the use of metrics to drive results and maintain effective vendor relationships.
- Leads negotiation teams and coach/train others in developing and adapting negotiation skills. Leverages industry analysis and research to support negotiation efforts.
- Adapts negotiation style and tactics based upon the organizational need to deliver the best results that align with the desired intent and stakeholder objective(s).
- Identifies, develops, and leads sourcing strategy initiatives. Partners with key business and/or IT stakeholders to define and implement effective, long-term opportunities to support the organization and collaboratively works towards strategy support.
- Performs market research, evaluates financial drivers and conducts industry benchmarking to analyze trends and gather information that will support internal stakeholders, identify best practices, reduce costs, and develop value-add sourcing strategies.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Job SummaryThe Analyst III, Office of the CIO (OICO) will work close with the Sr. Manager, Office of the CIO and other technology leads to maintain key OCIO functions including (but not limited to) resource management, vendor management, and Financial Analytics. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, performance, contracts, financials, and risk in alignment with the organization’s vendor strategy. This role ensures that vendor engagements deliver maximum value and meet evolving business needs. Responsibilities Lead and execute all vendor management activities across assigned vendor portfolio. Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels, obligations, and KPIs are met or exceeded. Conduct regular governance meetings and maintain strong operational relationships with vendors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the vendor lifecycle, including RFPs and strategic sourcing. Oversee vendor risk management processes and ensure compliance with internal policies. Track and manage vendor deliverables, obligations, and issue resolution. Support internal and external audits related to vendor and contract management. Contribute to the organization’s annual budgeting and strategic planning processes. Promote continuous improvement of vendor management policies and practices. Initiate and manage customer satisfaction (CSAT) surveys for vendors and analyze results. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; preferred fields include Supply Chain Management or Project Management. 5+ years of experience in vendor management and technology procurement. Strong understanding of vendor contracts, performance metrics, and risk management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to analyze data, resolve conflicts, and drive results independently. Preferred Qualifications Certification in procurement or supplier management (e.g., CPSM, CSMP, CSCP, CPSD). Experience with global service providers in technology, professional services, or contingent labor. Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Sirion, Oracle Fusion, Ariba, or Coupa.
