**Description**
You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams and will become responsible for improving and maintaining key parts of our internal software solutions. This involves integrating new technologies and features, as well as writing extremely sustainable and modular frameworks to be used by others at Apple. The position requires a candidate to be a quick learner who can take a project from broad scoping to execution from a perspective. The problems you will face will be dynamic, ranging from soliciting agreement for a software solution from cross-functional partners to a deeply technical blocker.
While working on the regular software delivery, you will also be expected to bring knowledge back to the team and help improve the infrastructure for testing and reliability of our deliverables.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
+ 3 years of experience programming in Swift/Objective-C for iOS or macOS applications, Knowledge of digital video fundamentals

**Summary:**

The Audio Video Support Specialist reports directly to the Manager, Digital Health. This position is responsible for the day-to-day setup, operation, and support of audio visual systems with a focus on Telehealth/video conferencing. The AV Specialist provides hands-on technical support for meetings, conferences, and special events, ensuring support for the Arkansas Children's Strategic Plan. Responsible for ensuring all classroom equipment is in place and rooms are ready for planned use. Additionally, they will provide an extremely high level of support to faculty in the classroom as well as provide front of house support for events. Audio Video Specialist must be service-focused and self-motivated and have a strong willingness to learn. The position must display mature judgment, exceptional communication skills, professionalism, and have the ability to complete most work with minimal supervision.

1. Performs day-to-day audio visual (AV) support functions, including scheduling, end-user
coordination/training, troubleshooting and equipment installation and repair
2. Conducts media support services with a focus on Telehealth/video conferencing and
Mediasite streaming technologies - including but not limited to - setting up/tearing down,
operating A/V equipment in conference rooms/classrooms as needed and guiding user on their various needs.
3. Provides general set up and installation of AV equipment, e.g., PCs, AV network,
microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, connecting wires and cables, for Arkansas Children's meetings, presentations, conferences, and news
conferences.
4. Works with multiple departments to ensure maximum availability of AV equipment.
5. Provides in-person, remote and/or phone technical support as needed.
6. Responsible for installation oversight of new AV hardware in coordination with AV
contractors/integrators and serves as liaison to AV contractors/integrators.

The **Audio-Visual Specialist** will provide expertise to the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) Department of Education (ED), Education Delivery Division (EDE), Academic Development Branch (EDED). USAFSAM/ED directs daily academic operations or USAFSAM and establishes student training policies. ED executes the student management and accounting for 4,000 students annually as well as the faculty development, instructor evaluation, and student evaluation programs. USAFSAM/EDED is responsible for the development and management of all course materials and curriculum development processes to include multimedia development.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist in the inventory and maintenance of the studio audio visual/computer-related equipment as directed by the Government representative
+ Edit all multimedia projects that were previously developed, as directed by the Government representative.
+ Assist with the ordering, storing, coding/entering inventory into database, and disposing of all audio visual/computer related equipment as directed by the Government representative.
+ Provide audio visual consultation to instructors, leaders and staff, including demonstrating and teaching the use of classroom equipment.
