Job Description:
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically
- Check products for defects and accuracy
- Pull, pack and ship finished goods
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Pull orders from shelves, and then place and secure onto pallet
- Communicate with managers to identify equipment in need of maintenance
- Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
- Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- May occasionally help on local job-sites (building and tearing down of structures and loading of trucks)
- Some basic fabrication duties such as drilling, cutting and other tasks.

Required license or certification:
- Forklift License Preferred
- High school or equivalent
- Hourly. Starting pay $16.50 per hour

Description: Builds bulk delivery pallets for customers and loads them onto bulk delivery vehicles in proper order. Move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location.
Summary : Warehouse activities for the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- An hourly base rate plus 8 cents for each case picked. Minimum picking requirements: 175- 200 cases per hour.
- Builds bulk delivery pallets for customers and loads them onto bulk delivery vehicles in proper order.
- Daily shipping/receiving includes unloading trucks, verifying the correctness of shipments against bills of lading or other records, checking for shortages, rejecting damaged goods, shipping and dunnage, and routing merchandise to the proper department or loading area. Takes the initiative to verify accuracy and deliver shipments received to the appropriate department upon receipt.
- Operates gas, propane, or electric-powered forklift or pallet jack. Collects and delivers various goods, materials, and products in warehouses or loading docks.
- Assist with general, routine warehouse maintenance as assigned (emptying the garbage cans, keeping the shipping area clean and orderly, etc.)
- Inspects products and equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards.
- Repack damaged products according to company standards.
- Participates in the safety program and follows all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Compensation:
This position is hourly. Pay starts at $9.30/hour (with three raises in 12 months bringing your pay to $ 0.50/hour)

Overview
Under general supervision, is responsible for picking, packing and shipping of all inbound and outbound shipments along with the duties associated with shipment preparation. The incumbent prepares bills of lading for freight carriers, assists in loading trucks and obtains signatures on shipments. Responsible for counting & recording material to ensure accuracy of shipment and receipt; performs related duties as required.

- Assists in the handling of materials and items from receiving area to designated bin locations
- Facilitates outbound shipments using proper packing methods and 3rd party delivery services
- Fulfills orders that are ready for shipment via will call, delivery or install
- Receive and unpack materials and supplies
- Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment
- Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming
- Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes accordingly
