THE POSITION
The Warehouse Clerk pulls orders and packs and prepares them for delivery or shipment. They carry out shipping and receiving functions and work with parcels. Works with the Post sales Department and Customer Support.
REPONSABILITIES:
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
Process products sales requests for clients delivery, with the verification of the invoice or ticket
Sort and place the items on racks, shelves or in bins according to products organizational standards.
Support to maintain inventory controls by carrying out cyclical inventories, and doing the physical inventory count as the company procedures indicate.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
Wear the proper safety equipment.
Organize and maintains the shipping and receiving logs of merchandise.
Classify, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including a pallet jack, forklift and by hand.
Performs other shipping/receiving duties, as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
100% bilingual spanish/English
Forklift Operator experience and certification (license) is required
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred
Customer service, principles and practices.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
Regularly lift and/or move objects 80 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Work Environment
The job is performed in a traditional warehouse setting. Exposure to common dust, dirt, and noise is expected. Activities include extended periods of sitting or standing and extensive work at a computer and/or loading dock or warehouse.
