Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for handling all parts and materials entering and leaving the facility. Supports all departments with shipping and receiving needs and identifies opportunities for efficiency and cost-savings. Manages the placement of all inventory on the production floor and storage areas.
Description of Duties:
- Oversee and maintain control of the boxes, items and parts that arrive at facility and deliver to assigned locations.
- Receiving material from QA Inspection and processing receiver, assigning bin locations
- Process paperwork from receipt and inspect the data pack for completion. (new action item) Document process to coordinate with finance.
- Assemble the data pack; scan and file on server, store hard copy in the Receiving area.(new)
- Prep areas for receipt of program materials.
- Maintaining count, traceability, labels of all hardware/parts coming through inventory, those issued to WIP as well as in inventory.
- Purchase shop items as required to support effort. Get budgetary approval and enter RFQ's on the system.
- Receive and assemble supporting equipment as required.
- Move material to pre-kitting staged area and or stock area.
- Review routers and direction from scheduler for kitting requirements, based on daily production meetings.
- Kit specific programs and release materials to quality/shop floor. Provide supporting documentation if required.
- Break down and dispose of boxes, HazMat materials, scrap and other shipping containers, and materials as required and appropriate.
- Maintain and audit all date sensitive materials and record all transactions, along with MSDS documentations.
- Process and prep items for shipment. Check all requirements from program CAN, if needed. Call for pick up document receipt and shipment of boxes in shipping and receiving system
- Package materials per specific specs if applicable and get QA approval for shipments after packaged.
- Create shipping labels and schedule pick-up
- Maintain shipping log of all items leaving facility along with tracking numbers or weigh bills.
- Follow up- to make sure that shipments were received and notify all parties.
- Coordinate all Lab purchases and movement of material to specified area.
- Maintain router sign offs and data entry for transfer for all materials Inventory clerk handles, either in knitting, WIP, Inventory.
- Initiate cycle counts, rand contractual inventory counts, recruiting third party if required. Research any discrepancies, and make adjustments if required, but not without proper approvals. Record and maintain this traceability.
- Maintain all scrap materials. This is an inventory function and scrap should be maintained in confined area.
- Research and provide all excess inventories with Gvt. Property to Project lead for disposition.
- After disposition, dispose of materials as directed.
- Issue property documents to support all scrap, transfers, etc. with proper approvals and record in QCBD.
- Complete all property documentation in conjunction with the property Administrator who generates costs of items, and submit to proper authority for signatures. These forms should then be submitted to QCBD for traceability purposes.
- Scan directly into the job, and data will be maintained on file with the job.
- Work with other team members to develop logistics material handling items and get quotes.
- Issue all outside process purchase orders as part of WIP, get quotes, follow up to confirm receipt, and then expedite if required. It must have a demand via E2.
- Perform general paperwork tasks, maintain detailed Unanet time, detailing all the minute transactions taking place.
- Maintain clean and orderly area, with emphasis on program specific areas.
- Drive or transport last minute parts to Shipping Carrier if items are not received in a timely manner. Make the call if they ship out the next day.
- Coordinate with Safety on any issues monthly, which may need to be completed.
- Maintain Property, Equipment, Special Tooling and Tooling inventories, with all transactional and reporting requirements.
- Frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 70lbs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of standard shipping, receiving and inventory control procedures
- Knowledge of machined parts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and MRP systems
- Ability to be customer-focused, and detail-oriented

Position Overview
Warehouse Associates are responsible for the processing and shipping of products to our guests and retail locations. Work Schedule
Full-time Warehouse Associates are scheduled 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Two shifts are available, either Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday. While our schedule remains fairly consistent, our associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule when needed. Overtime in the form of extended or additional shifts is occasionally required, especially during our Peak Season from October through December.
