Serco is seeking a Principal Military Trainer - Maneuver Work Cell Instructor/Controller (WIC) to support the U.S. Army's Operations Group B, Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The selected candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in the Maneuver Warfighting Function (WfF), supporting tactical and operational maneuver and other WfFs as needed.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Train military personnel on WARSIM and Maneuver WfF simulation processes and procedures.
+ Ensure realism during exercises through role-playing, adjudication, and resolution of simulated conflicts.
+ Lead the work cell in translating rehearsals, plans, and operations into simulation scripting and inputs.
+ Mentor and train work cell augmentees to effectively role-play subordinate elements of the training audience.
+ Ensure simulation of WfF units/assets aligns with current doctrine and unit SOPs.
+ Provide significant event updates via the Workstation Reporting System (WRS) to support the AAR process.
+ Maintain expertise in current and emerging Army and Joint Maneuver doctrine for brigade through corps levels.
+ Collaborate with MCTP Observer/Coach/Trainers (O/C/Ts) to align Maneuver organizational understanding.
Additional duties include:
+ Supporting exercise design and scenario development.
+ Conducting site surveys and participating in planning conferences.
+ Contributing to the simulation Rules and Workarounds book as a Maneuver WfF SME.
+ Assisting with Maneuver WfF certification training.
+ Maintaining the WARSIM WfF database.
+ Performing various administrative responsibilities as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience; OR
+ Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
+ MEL 4 CGSC graduate or equivalent (Warrant Officer/SGM level).
+ Graduate of an Advanced Course relevant to Maneuver operations.
+ Proficiency in current Army Maneuver doctrine and synchronization procedures.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access.
+ Familiarity with Army and Joint Doctrine.
+ Ability to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
+ Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
+ Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.

+ Expertise in maneuver training operations and simulation support.
+ Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
+ Experience developing scenarios and supporting large-scale training exercises.
+ Effective communication and collaboration with military leadership and teams.
**Additional desired experience and skills:**
+ Graduate of the Maneuver Advanced Course.
+ Experience as a Maneuver Battalion/Brigade Operations Officer or Executive Officer.
+ Graduate degree.
+ Staff officer experience at the brigade level or higher.
