CVS Health is looking for a Workday (Functional & Technical) Expert (with Core HCM Compensation and Absence Management expertise) to join our Human Resources Technology team. We're seeking an experienced and motivated individual who is ready to take on the challenge of supporting HR and Payroll business operations by providing optimal and scalable technology solutions.

This person will be an integral part of a team responsible for Workday HCM, Compensation and Absence Management modules for domestic (USA) and international employees meeting the needs of CVS Health's Payroll, Legal and Human Resources business partners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical partners. You will provide integral support to the Human Resources and Payroll organizations for their technology needs collaborating with HR Business Partners, COEs and HR Shared Services across all business segments. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with business and technical partners to support the Workday Core HCM and Compensation functional areas and roadmap, including the established list of global priorities.

  • Understands the needs of the business and evaluates Workday capabilities through research and testing.

  • Maintains clear and up to date list of key deliverables and timelines, developing plans to achieve those targets and proactively communicating progress to a variety of stakeholders.

  • Ensures that the delivered product meets or exceeds the business' needs and business objectives.

  • Supports enhancements, project requests and defects, providing optimal and timely solutions.

  • Gathers requirements, business process optimization, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration and testing. Creates necessary documentation in each stage.

  • Collaborates with key cross-functional partners to maintain transparency, consistency in delivery, and set expectations.

  • Actively participates in Workday's semi-annual release process, engaging with release team on cross-functional initiatives and liaising with Business Leads on critical impacts and upcoming enhancement opportunities. Supports regression testing and guide regression testing teams.

  • Awareness of new and planned Workday functionality, actively engaging with the Workday Community to prepare and communicate changes that could impact business.

  • Leads the translation of business requirements to technical solutions and creating appropriate timelines.

  • Responsible for fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuring the application, user acceptance testing and maintenance of the software solution.

  • Maintains up to date documentation in tracking tools.

  • Performs and supports user acceptance testing and creates necessary documentation including test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test results.

  • Ensures adherence to industry best practice, actively engaging with Workday Community on future releases. Encourages product innovation and alternative ways of approaching business.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years Workday HCM and Compensation experience.

  • 5+ years' experience configuring Core HCM, Compensation and Absence Management product areas for domestic and international colleagues.

  • 4+ years' experience working on calc fields, complex repots and various configurations in Workday.

  • 4+ years' experience configuring and debugging Business Processes and building solutions in Workday.

  • 3+ years' experience working with HR technology landscape, including cloud computing and mobile technologies.

  • 3+ years' experience working with business to gather requirements, perform fit gap analysis, design solutions, create functional designs, configuring Workday application, performing user acceptance testing, and maintaining the health of the product. Ability to create necessary documentation in each phase.

  • 3+ years' experience generating reports for analysis, data auditing and supporting requests from various business teams.

  • 2+ years' experience collaborating with SaaS vendors to provide timely resolution for defects.

Overview

Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for an HRIS Analyst to join our organization. In this role, the individual will be responsible for maintaining and improving HR systems and business processes with a focus on data quality. The role provides global systems administration support and HR process improvements to various HR systems including SAP HCM, SuccessFactors HXM along with corresponding modules and other Human Resources technologies.

This position will act as an internal consultant and a department liaison between stakeholders providing best practice solutions that are tailored to HR processes and business needs.

This is a hybrid role with three days a week onsite required at either our Milford, MA or Wilmslow site (Tues/Wed/Thurs).

Responsibilities

    Working with HR Business Owners, provide system management support to ongoing or annual programs (Compensation, PM/GM, etc.).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with security through user access, role-based permission roles and groups.
  • Manage workflow including notifications, and dynamic roles/groups.
  • Deep knowledge of import process to support business processes of reorganization, mergers & acquisitions, and annual programs.
  • Utilize the ECSC ticketing system to manage and resolve support tickets. Serve as agent for escalated HRIS issues from stakeholders, troubleshoot system issues, and research solutions to improve system efficiencies.
  • Maintain HR business systems to ensure continued operation through testing, quarterly updates, and enhancements to resolve problems.
  • Assess and improve overall HR workflow through system and procedural changes and user training. Implement changes from start to finish while acting as a consultant to and advocate for HR.
  • Manage implementation lifecycle of new HR business modules or systems. Participate in implementation teams as needed.
  • Create or update documentation of systems requirements, business processes, configurations, test plans, end-user documentation, as well as deliver necessary training or demo sessions to ensure shared understanding and to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S degree or above
  • 3-5 years industry experience in HRIS and or enterprise software project management
  • Proven knowledge of SuccessFactors modules, specifically talent development and succession and SAP HCM
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and develop and implement new or streamlined workflows
  • Knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word, database and programming concepts
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis skills

Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for an HRIS Analyst to join our organization. In this role, the individual will be responsible for maintaining and improving HR systems and business processes with a focus on data quality. The role provides global systems administration support and HR process improvements to various HR systems including SAP HCM, SuccessFactors HXM along with corresponding modules and other Human Resources technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Working with HR Business Owners, provide system management support to ongoing or annual programs (Compensation, PM/GM, etc.).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with security through user access, role-based permission roles and groups.
  • Manage workflow including notifications, and dynamic roles/groups.
  • Deep knowledge of import process to support business processes of reorganization, mergers & acquisitions, and annual programs.
  • Utilize the ECSC ticketing system to manage and resolve support tickets. Serve as agent for escalated HRIS issues from stakeholders, troubleshoot system issues, and research solutions to improve system efficiencies.
  • Maintain HR business systems to ensure continued operation through testing, quarterly updates, and enhancements to resolve problems.
  • Assess and improve overall HR workflow through system and procedural changes and user training. Implement changes from start to finish while acting as a consultant to and advocate for HR.
  • Manage implementation lifecycle of new HR business modules or systems. Participate in implementation teams as needed.
  • Create or update documentation of systems requirements, business processes, configurations, test plans, end-user documentation, as well as deliver necessary training or demo sessions to ensure shared understanding and to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S degree or above
  • 3-5 years industry experience in HRIS and or enterprise software project management
  • Proven knowledge of SuccessFactors modules, specifically talent development and succession and SAP HCM
