**Position Overview:**
AECOM is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex infrastructure and engineering projects within the mining sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and administration of assigned projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with client expectations, budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for clients and internal leadership.
Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, participating in proposal development, and fostering client relationships.
Mentor, develop, and manage project management staff to cultivate a high-performing, skilled team.
Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations and AECOM's internal quality assurance and safety standards.
Manage financial aspects of projects including forecasting, invoicing, profit and loss responsibility, and budget controls.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements** :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in project management within the infrastructure, construction engineering, or related sectors.
Proven track record managing medium to large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects successfully.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising multi-disciplinary project teams.
Excellent client-facing abilities with demonstrated experience in relationship building and stakeholder management.
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, contracts, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance processes.
Ability to manage multi-tasking projects independently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with local state, and federal regulations related to infrastructure and construction projects.
Experience in negotiating contracts, managing risk, and resolving project claims and disputes.
Proficient in project management software, MS Office Suite, and relevant engineering/design tools.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
**Preferred Skills:**
Experience with government and public-sector clients.
Familiarity with alternative delivery methods such as design-build or progressive design-build.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and innovation within project delivery.
Certifications such as PMP, PE, or equivalent are advantageous.

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated senior geotechnical engineer and laboratory manager to support mine tailings storage facility design and analysis as part of the Mining group in Salt Lake City, Utah.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provides project leadership in the areas of design, investigation, analysis, construction and operation of Tailings Storage Facilities and multi-disciplinary mining projects
+ Develop project proposals and work with mining business leader to support and grow the practice.
+ Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering project, focusing on the design and operations of mine tailing projects.
+ Manage complex laboratory testing programs, project budgets, scopes, and schedules
+ Assist mining division engineers in development of testing programs to accomplish the goals of the overall investigation, testing, and characterization programs.
+ Perform and/or supervise advanced soil-mechanics tests - direct hands-on and oversight for triaxial, direct simple shear, consolidation, cyclic shear tests, permeability, and other soil mechanics tests.
+ Oversee laboratory data management, including digital data capture, validation, archiving, and integration with geotechnical databases and design workflows.
+ Lead laboratory and project activities in accordance with applicable tailings governance frameworks emphasizing risk reduction and defensible engineering decisions.
+ Implement and maintain QA/QC and accreditation programs - maintain certifications/accreditations, prepare for internal and external audits, and document corrective actions.
+ Client communication and technical review - present findings to clients, respond to technical queries, and perform peer reviews of lab programs and reports for quality assurance.
+ Provide direction to and mentoring to other technical staff in completing engineering project tasks.

The **Underground Mining Engineer** is responsible for the planning, design, optimization, and safe execution of underground mining operations. This role ensures productive, cost‑effective, and compliant extraction of ore while maintaining the highest standards of safety, ground control, and environmental stewardship.

+ Bilingual (English & Spanish) ability in order to communicate technical requirements related to projects
+ Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligibility for licensure
+ Experience with North American underground mining operations

+ Leadership or supervisory experience will be considered a plus

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Senior Bid/Proposals and Marketing professional to join our team. **AECOM** is looking for a **Proposal Specialist IV** to join AECOM's Federal Marketing team. Our clients include both Federal Defense and Civilian agencies, and you will have the opportunity to work with highly specialized teams across Environment sectors primarily in the USA. **Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**
As part of the Federal Government Environment team, serves as a proposal manager to assist winning work to the Environment Business line (BL) and regions.
Interfaces with business line growth team and operations to support the process of winning work. Leads responses to client RFI/RFQ/RFPs and applies standard pursuit processes to ensure efficiency in schedule and bid compliance. Responsible for print, electronic and oral proposal deliverables. Provides market research and competitive intelligence and leverages data systems and tools to support proposal strategy and business strategic planning efforts.
**Job Summary**
+ Responsible for leading large, complex, priority must-win pursuits from capture through to interview stage, as required, which may include multiple disciplines/geographies.
+ May facilitate workshops/sessions to support the capture manager in development of the win strategy.
+ Analyzes debriefs and applies lessons learned to add value to strategy and reviews.
+ Creates detailed annotated outlines and write first-draft content, compliance lists, and capture and proposal schedules, with the ability to pivot if requirements change.
+ Leads writing of proposal sections such as cover letters, executive summaries, past performance sections, management approaches, and resumes/staffing sections. Provides annotated outlines and writing guidance to authors of technical sections.
+ Participates actively in Go/No-Go, capture strategies and greenlight analyses and drives compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities, providing leadership and direction, where required.
+ Facilitates color reviews for assigned pursuits, and applies lessons learned to add value to proposal and win plan.
+ Serves as a reviewer on color reviews for priority pursuits led by others, as needed, applying in-depth institutional knowledge.
+ Responsible for quality and compliance of all deliverables.
+ Supports debriefs and gathering of client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvements.
+ Responsible for proposal and project filing on the secure server and CRM. Knows where to go for all recent submittals and project descriptions. Is familiar with the top IDIQs and top IDIQ managers and project managers.
+ May participate in strategic planning that includes evaluating marketing intelligence, identifying customer concerns and key issues, and developing win strategies to thread into strategic pursuits.
+ May contribute to development and implementation of internal training program on topics related to core processes, tools, practices or other special topics.
+ May lead special projects involving teams of BL staff, as directed by Governments Marketing Lead
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree + 6 years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Strong knowledge of proposal best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools as related to Federal proposal management of RFQ/P responses.
+ Strong working knowledge of InDesign as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
+ Developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production.
+ Demonstrates excellent writing and editing skills, consistently applying strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous quality improvement.
+ Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
+ Evidence of successful leadership.
+ Proven organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule, guide deliverable efforts by others, and manage documents and deadlines effectively.
+ Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to completion.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
+ Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry. Knowledge of AECOM's projects, people, credentials, and competitors is a plus.
+ Working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
+ Experience with SAM.gov, GovWin, FedConnect, and SalesForce is preferred but not required.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $105,000.00 - $130,000.00.
