  • Relevant technical , vocational, or military training certificates
  • Ability to interpret equipment schematics to identify replacement components.
  • Ability to research and identify parts via equipment drawings
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to build effective working relationships with vendors, contractors and coworkers to secure critical parts in a timely manner and achieve maintenance department goals.
  • Strong computer and Microsoft office (Excel) software skills; ability to navigate and use CMMS; MicroMain preferred.
Howmet's Savannah Operations Plant focuses on forging and converting specialty metals into value added engines for the commercial aerospace and defense industries. The Maintenance Planner is integral in managing equipment, tools, and resources to ensure the department has the parts and equipment needed to perform the job.

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the management of equipment spare parts, common maintenance tooling, daily/weekly/monthly reports, spare parts storage area, and preventive maintenance reporting. This role is best suited for someone who can demonstrate proficiency in organizational skills, Microsoft Excel, and a self-motivated attitude. This position will work with the Maintenance Supervisors, Facilities Engineers, and Automation Controls team to support Production by managing the equipment inventory and assisting in the management of the preventive maintenance program.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare the Preventative Maintenance work orders for the Maintenance team on a weekly basis.
  • Enter requisitions, requests receipts and reconcile invoicing for completion for all outside services
  • Assist in the development of general Maintenance procedures and work instructions.
  • Oversees requests of quotations for spare parts based on technical request from Engineering and Maintenance teams.
  • Order and track spare parts requests in the on-site Purchasing system.
  • Generates unplanned work orders to address equipment issues as they arise
  • Organize and maintain all ordered, received, on hold, and cancelled parts requests within an Excel spreadsheet and reconcile invoicing for completion.
  • Maintain the Critical Equipment Spare Part Excel Sheet and create identification tags for parts that are received in.
  • Navigate through multiple computer system applications such as MicroMain (Maintenance Management System), Q-Pulse, and Tropos.
  • Comfortable walking onto the Production floor to receive incoming spare parts and manage the spare parts storage area.
  • Create and modify Microsoft Excel Sheets through the utilization of conditional formatting and basic formulas.
  • Gather data from multiple spreadsheet sources and create re-occurring reports for the on-site management team.
  • Assist in the planning of Maintenance shut down jobs working with the Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Engineering team
  • Receives and logs inventory into Critical Spare Inventory
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of parts cage, consumable bins, and chemical storage areas
  • Coordinates shipment and receipt of components for rebuild/overhaul
  • Generates inventory reports and PM% completion reports
  • Schedules and coordinates on-site contractors for tasks requiring outside maintenance support to typically include routine maintenance of HVAC, fire alarm, sprinkler systems, etc.
  • Receive contractors as they arrive on-site, present defined site safety requirements, and ensures contractor compliance of all site safety policies including lockout / tagout
  • Ensure work is in compliance with of all site safety policies including lockout/tagout
  • Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Manage consumable Preventive Maintenance spares as they are used throughout the year.
  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical system principles.
  • Comfortable working in dirty environments to support the Maintenance spare parts program.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to obtain in-house mobile equipment certification, including forklift, scissor lift and boom lift

The role of the **Supply Chain Technician** serves as member of the Material Management team supporting the clinical staff in the annual planning, daily management and ongoing monitoring of the medical supply expense budget which includes the coordination and provision for supplies and equipment that enable patient care in the hospital.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Deliver medical equipment and supplies to the clinical supply closets. Rotate and stock product as needed based on a first in, first out model. Coordinate deliveries and vendor-managed supplies (e.g. linen) with contracted suppliers.
+ Responsible for the inventory management in the clinical supply areas: organize supply areas, manage shelf life/expiring products, removing unused supplies etc.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ One year's experience in supply chain preferred.
+ Supply chain experience means experience establishing and managing par levels and storage closets (e.g. rotating stock, validating product recalls and expiration dates)
+ Demonstrated experience collaborating with other departments to research and solve complex problems.

The National Supply, Inventory and Orbit Planning for our Nutritional lines of products (e.g., fairlife, Minute Maid, Simply, Fuze Tea and more) continues to become more critical in our midterm planning and day-to-day operations in order to balance demand and supply, capacity constraints and inventory builds, especially as we execute the Asset Light strategy in the North America Operating Unit (NAOU), forcing greater collaboration and orchestration within the OU, as well as with co-man partners.
With growing complexities in our portfolio and operations, the Director of National Supply, Inventory, and Orbit Planning team must lead various processes. Those processes include strategic events like the National Supply Review, the Canadian S&OP routines with Sales and Category leadership, as well as Executive S&OP. The Director must be flexible to also lean in to guide and develop a team of Supply Planning Leaders and Managers on tactical matters. The Director will help develop, track, measure and improve performance against aligned KPIs.
The Director must inspire and lead deliberately, strategically, and methodically with a razor-sharp focus: continuously improve our plans to drive operating effectiveness and overall supply chain performance through scenario planning, internal and cross functional collaboration, developing next-generation team members and technologies. As more automation becomes the expectation, the Director must determine the best way to balance technology with human resources.
**Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:**
**Midterm Capacity & Supply Planning**
* Provide a North American vision of the needs and requirements to the regional supply networks. This role will be the face of supply planning for the Canadian region as well as the lead voice for our chilled non-Simply PET products in the US.
* Assemble, design, and activate the lowest cost supply network solution, while preparing additional contingent scenarios.
* Works closely with Supply Chain Optimization & Infrastructure Planning Team and Director Integrated Logistics Planning on E2E asset and sourcing projects
* Build, maintain, and communicate national capacity models by plant/line for each assigned brand/package.
* Consider scenarios when emergencies emerge due to unforeseen events (e.g., weather, breakdowns, material shortages, etc.) to find the best-next options to supply customer demand/orders while minimizing costs.
* Play the SME role for assigned new product introductions, product changes, and product discontinuations, including participating in project meetings, submitting item set-up requests, tracking materials planning, publishing factsheets and assembling product write-off estimates.
**Collaboration With NAOU, Region and Co-Man Operations**
* Establish planning strategy for assigned product lines and supply network structure and work with Regional Planning to populate and maintain parameter settings in system tools to support the strategy and maximize the planning groups efficiency & accuracy.
* Present business case to execute on seasonal/peak inventory pre-builds.
* Lead efforts on implementing optimal multi-echelon inventory recommendations from Llamasoft/Lyric with collaboration with Region and Copackers to free up cash from working capital.
* Minimize costs and maximize customer service levels.
* Track and manage performance against the target inventory levels to improve NAOU's overall cash position.
* Coach and collaborate with Regional Planners to best manage product supply across the Regional or National network.
**Performance Tracking & Management**
* Understand key supply chain performance levers (e.g., on-time delivery, total supply chain cost, operational feasibility, etc.) and seek solutions to improve these metrics.
* Report out performance results, current business status, and future risks via Weekly Hot Spots, S&OE and S&OP meetings.
* Provide structured and creative analyses to identify performance improvement opportunities.
* Collaborate extensively with Network/Sourcing and Inventory Optimization Leader to operationalize recommendations from modeling software (Llamasoft/Lyric) and track actual execution and results vs. potential opportunities.
**National & Regional S&OP/S&OE/Hot Spots**
* Collaborate with Forecast COE, Demand Planning, and Region teams to identify upcoming risks proactively to determine contingencies.
* Mitigate risks to maximize product availability while minimizing supply chain costs with specific and actionable recommendations.
* Orchestrate and execute contingency plans with collaboration and support from regional teams and Category Commercialization.
* Leverage these routines to clearly communicate risks, opportunities, and contingency plans.
* Exercise PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Adjust) to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
**Education and Experience Requirements**
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or Operations
* Masters Preferred
**Related Work Experience**
* 15+ Years in Supply Chain Management, Planning, Commercialization or Operations

Responsible for developing, monitoring, and implementing moderately complex tactical and strategic initiatives/projects in the Supply Chain area for the WMRE PMO.
**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Conducts detailed and complex analysis of supplier spend and other procurement metrics.
+ Manages and develops moderately complex reporting tools to aid in the analysis of sourcing by supplier spend.
+ Supports field communications and training support for all related supply chain programs.
+ Facilitates procurement scorecard process on initiatives such as: Supplier count reduction, contract compliance, and cost reduction.
+ Facilitates RFI/RFQ process for RNG project equipment and/or services.
+ Evaluates suppliers by analyzing prices, shipping speeds, product quality, and vetting potential candidates.
+ Establishes and manage supply chain KPI process.
+ Generates reports on cost analysis, vendor SLAs, compliance, and other KPIs.
+ Manages equipment logistics coordination and execution with project managers, carriers and 3PL brokers.
