Overview
The Director of Leisure Sales (On Site), reporting directly to the General Manager, is responsible for the development of strategic plans to positively impact leisure and business travel market.
Responsibilities- Direct the identification, sales efforts, and relationships with top leisure travel producers including travel management accounts, retail travel agents, consortiums, and wholesalers.
- Assist in the integration of individual property efforts into the overall Terranea Resort’s strategy.
- Direct the efforts to garner and organize relevant competitive information.
- Assist in the creation and analysis of financials including budgets, forecasting, rates, and pricing guidelines.
- Establish Leisure Travel Marketing and Action Plans.
- Establish wholesale, retail, and corporate travel (where appropriate) target lists. Attainment of annual room night and revenue goal for the leisure and business travel market sales program.
- Initiate contact with perspective business travel accounts as identified through direct sales program.
- Coordinate special promotional events for key leisure and business travel customers and their clients, i.e. Resort-hosted receptions, customer appreciation parties and incentives, etc. Prepare bi-annual evaluation of individual companies in order to review the results in unison to ensure leisure travel guidelines are being met.
- Make qualified sales trips and solicit new clients on behalf of Terranea Resort.
- Represent property at appropriate travel industry tradeshows, conference and meetings.
- Monitor mailings to leisure travel customers with updates of programs and events on behalf of the Terranea Resort.
- Review account’s production and travel pattern to determine the appropriate market segment for negotiation.
- Engage with the hotel’s revenue management and reservations team.
- Ensure that travel industry policies and wholesalers are known and adhered to by all hotel and office staff.
- Interact with Public Relations to ensure everyone is updated on new programs, packages and travel industry events that could make for positive public relations coverage in the trade or local media.
- Responsible for all consortia and strategic partnerships including AMEX FHR, Virtuoso, Signature etc. updating VIRTUOSO NET, participation in various publications, seeing that amenities are properly delivered, etc.
- Maintain active liaison with competitors regionally and nationally through personal contacts and professional associations.

Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate: $140,000/Yr. - $165,000/Yr. + Sales incentives

- Design and implement a customer success strategy and methodology on a global scale, building a prescriptive, scalable customer success motion to support our largest and most strategic customers.
- Identify and measure KPIs and regularly report on the progress & success of the account management function to leadership.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Provide campaign performance and customer feedback to internal product teams, serving as the 'voice of the customer' and ensuring GumGum's product roadmap aligns with market needs.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Client Strategy, Ad Operations, Supply, and other functions to develop the optimal customer journey, drive deep customer value, create multi-year plans, and increase efficiency.
Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in high-growth AdTech environments , ideally within a supply-aligned organization (e.g., advanced ad networks, digital media platforms, or global publishers). Proven success in client-facing roles managing both IO and Programmatic (PMP) campaigns, with a strong understanding of inventory dynamics, avails, and cross-channel media strategy.
- 8+ years in a management/leadership role or equivalent, with a proven track record of managing global teams.
- Experience managing relationships with publishers, agencies, and ad tech vendors in North America and EMEA, and comfortable managing cultural nuances.
- Demonstrated experience in leading through significant transformational change.
- History of working across mid-to-large, complex, and politically dynamic companies.

- Development and review of Maximum Foreseeable (MFL), Probable Maximum (PML) and Normal Loss (NLE) estimates.
- Hazards associated with a variety of occupancies including manufacturing, warehousing, soft occupancies, etc.
- Problem solving using the application of Client Standards, NFPA, FM Global or other best practices to resolve technical fire protection issues.
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience and professional designations.
- 3 to 10 years with an insurance carrier, vendor or related property risk engineering experience.
- Technically proficient in understanding, interpreting, and applying NFPA and/or FM Global standards; and, evaluating fire protection systems (automatic sprinklers, water supplies, special extinguishing systems, etc.)
- Ideal candidate is motivated and a self-starter.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and transition to and from ladders or stairs to access building roof areas and upper or lower floors within a customer site during surveys and being able to transverse site and client sites for a workday.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 to $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aons annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
