* Assist residents with daily bath, dressing, grooming, dental care, bladder functions, preparations for medical tests and exams, ear and eye care and positioning in and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, etc.
* Provide nursing functions as directed by supervisor including daily perennial care, catheter care, turn residents in bed, all bathing, measure and record temperature, pulse and respiration, weigh and measure residents, perform restorative and rehabilitative procedure and observe and report presence of skin breakdowns; review care plans daily, report changes in resident conditions to supervisor; and, record all necessary charting entries and report all accidents and incidents.
* Prepare patients for meals and snacks; identify food arrangements and assist in feeding residents as need; record food and fluid intake; and perform after-meal patients care as needed.
* Maintain resident confidentiality; treat patients with kindness, dignity, and respect; Promptly report all patient complaints, accidents, and incidents to the supervisor.
* Assist as directed in proper admission, transfer, and discharge of residents; inventory resident possessions and report food articles and medications found in patient rooms; and, report defective equipment to administration
* Understand and use Universal Precautions and follow established safety rules; ensure cleanliness of assigned patients' rooms; properly maintain and record patient restraints; and, promptly report all violations of safety and sanitation rules to the supervisor.
* Attend and participate in orientation, training, educational activities and staffing meetings as requested.
* Participate in training and education of staff as requested.
* Performs other duties as requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LNA LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANT:
* Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license or license eligible in the state of employment

What We'll Provide:

You will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week, day time shifts.

- Long Term Patient Relationships: As a PCT you will treat and educate patients who are suffering from end stage renal disease and are receiving Kidney Dialysis treatment on average 3 times a week.
- Fast Paced: PCT's conduct patient observations, measure stats and set-up machines. You will work with your head, heart and hands each day.
What You Can Expect:
- Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
